You are mistaken!
The perpetrator of any deed constructs his own moral landscape and is free to do so, however, if you find it exceptionable to remove someone's freedom without their permission (rape) you give the world moral permission to forcibly remove your freedom as it is acceptable in your view to do such things.
So, you have no cause to complain when your freedom is snatched from you… and it will be!
You simply fall upon your own sword (nothing arbitrary about that)
1) You make the mistake of thinking skeptics have no grounding for morality (love)
2) The "new" covenant still holds love as a subservient to vanity.
3) You may avoid lusting money but you "do" lust after pleasing God, more life, heaven etc which is exactly the same greed with a different hat on.
Some have love as a motive and moral guide, love does not bow to Christ, Christ bows to love or he is rejected by those with the capacity for love under the very dictates of…. LOVE
There is now way to objectively ground morality or truth without God. You offered opinion, which is arbitrary and subjective. Based on your reasoning, you should have no problem if someone believes it is morally acceptable to kill and molest children 4 the fun of it. You may not like it. But you cannot say it is wrong in any objective sense.
You state that the Bible is ultimately contradictory. Do u believe in universal, immaterial, unchanging laws of logic? if so, whats ur basis for them?
Wake up people. Use some logic and stop being so mentally corrupt and misled. What the atheist said was completely correct. How on this planet can you not ground morality without a god? The stupidity of this man is intense. Right and wrong are opinions and within the eye of the beholder. I am astounded that people can think like this. The bible is ultimately contradictory i understand the bible i have read the bible, it is complete idiocy. You're either vulnerable, indoctrinated or stupid. PEACE
