Nice story about DNA evidence…
In my opinion they have traced our DNA back to the flood. Y Chromosome Adam is actually Y Chromosome Noah. The dates they give are based on calculations that assume we are descended from a common ancestor with Chimpanzees but when you allow for modern mutation rates that are actually measured they give a date for Y Chromosome Adam that is closer to the flood.

The differences between siblings isn't due to imprecision in the testing. It's due to the fact that although you get half of your chromosomes from each parents, siblings don't get the SAME half. So, for example, you may get a certain gene from your mom, but your sibling may get that same gene from your dad. That will result in a small genealogical difference when you do those DNA tests.
The relationships (finding parents, siblings, distant cousins and such) is really good.
But when it comes to the "ethnicity" makeup it can be wildly inaccurate. (Read the fine print at the bottom of that report, the allowable error is defaulted to around 80%, which you can change to a lower level) and it will also vary hugely from provider to provider.
When proven monozygotic twins (true identical twins from a single egg) get very different results it is very obvious that that part is flawed and fiction.

Please tell me this! My two sisters had their DNA , including mitochondrial, by two different companies and they got the same results, that we are 100% Finnish and that it goes back to Neanderthal gene. I am a strong Christian and am perplexed by this! Can you help me to understand?
