Colorado Parents Will Lose Custody for ‘Deadnaming’ | Ep 1177
Today, we’re discussing the ongoing Supreme Court case Mahmoud v. Taylor, in which SCOTUS will be addressing whether or not parents have the right to opt their children out of curriculum featuring storybooks promoting LGBT ideology. The Maryland school board doesn’t want to let parents opt out, but parents say this violates their First Amendment rights. Who will SCOTUS side with? And the state of Colorado is back on our radar, and not in a good way, with four new bills that protect abortion care and “gender-affirming health care” that are currently working their way through the legislature. At least some good news came from across the pond with the U.K. Supreme Court ruling that women are, in fact, biological females, and “transgender” women don’t fit that description.

Coloradoan here and I’m proud of our state for being inclusive. Why you right folks feel so violated by someone else’s desire to be whomever they want to be baffles me. This does not affect you!
"Coercive control" goes farther than divorce custody. It will be used as a bludgeon against parents who both are against transitioning a child, and I guarantee you CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES will be attempting to take away children from parents who agree. PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS AND ADMINS will be sending them after parents! TEACHERS and PUBLIC SCHOOL ADMIN are already legally declaring children HOMELESS behind the parents back! Children are already being taken away from parents who disagree with transitioning in current custody battles in divorce. The progressive judges, state departments, and bureaucrats always take it a step farther!

Isn't Colorado Springs the city that gave our world the great Evangelical Leader, Ted Haggard?! There was, once upon a time, when Allie Beth would have praised Ted Haggard as the godly example of how parents should raise their children. Ooops! Now, Allie Beth spends all of her God-given free time on this planet defecating on people who are trying to be kind to children (but she's not unkind to her disgraced Evangelical Leader, Ted Haggard). Now, Allie LOVES to defecate on people who simply don't share her southern religious views. In Allie Beth's view of god's world, there's an ALMIGHTY heavenly father who HAD TO SLAUGHTER HIS PERFECT SON, JESUS, because . . . . . . well, the rules in the south require that god should slaughter something, anything, maybe his own son, Jesus (just like any animal, which is always totally-cool in the south). That's the same south where evengelicals argued for decades that blacks are lucky to be American slaves. Allie's version of god apparently couldn't waive the "rules" and provide forgiveness (like Jesus actually said we all should do without condition). Allie Beth now wants to tell us how children should be raised. Think about this . . . . Allie wants us to raise/teach children her southern way (like a loving God killed the whole world in a flood)?! It's obvious why the south and now our entire country under Allie's preferred political "leaders" are failing in every way. WAKE UP AMERICANS!

What happened to having parents consent when kids are under the age of 18?
I have to be honest here about what is being said in the ad around 44:10. This is just my POV….
I agree that supporting Christians who are ethical/hard working/put out a good product or service is a wonderful thing to do, and personally I aim for that as I am financially able to (keywords—financially able).
However…and this has nothing to do with the Christian companies supported on this podcast…
I have witnessed over and over again in my life people who claim the name of Christ who provide a goods or service and…
1) do not work hard and/or ethically
2) do not put out a good product and/or service
Aside from that, sometimes I just can’t afford what these Christian companies offer, sadly, as I’d love to support them.
But at the end of the day, if I need something—a goods or a service—I am going to make sure I can a) afford it and more importantly b) the reputation of the company, whether Christian or not, proceeds itself.
And perhaps these instances I know where those who claimed Christ as their Savior and didn’t “deliver” really aren’t believers—I do not know. What I do know is that in any circumstance I try to make ethical decisions about who I work with etc and even if they aren’t a believer, guess what? It gives me an opportunity to be a witness🙏🏻
This episode made me sick to my stomach. It’s hard to believe this stuff is overtly being pushed and actively put into law. Praying for Colorado and those who can leave the state should get out.
Pull your kids out of school! I would and have done whatever it has taken to give my kids a biblical education. You cannot do that by participating in a secular system. Period.

When I taught full-time in a public school 20 years ago, I would never have dared plaster my school and classroom with crosses, posters of Bibles verses and Christian art, flags of Christendom, put Christian books and Bibles on the bookshelves, nor do Bible lessons with explicitly Christian values. 20 years ago, even seven years ago, there was NEAR ZERO LGBT/BLM propaganda. When I enter public schools and classrooms now, Leftist propaganda is EVERYWHERE, proudly, forcefully promoting Leftist values which have become more than a religion, but instead a cult. It's as if there could be no dissent or offence from anyone whatsoever or you are a bigoted apostate. It's incredible. From a very blue state, biggest school district here…
I recently met someone who was a detransitioner. All she wanted was to wear more masculine clothing but everyone told her that if she wanted to dress like that she needed to transition because only boys wear that. She transitioned at 15. Five years later she detransitioned. She didn’t have gender dysphoria. She said if one person had told her she was perfect just the way she was she wouldn’t have transitioned. The school system is 100% pushing this on children
11:36 people a key lesson here is that small elections matter!!!!! Good people need to run for school board and voters need to be informed about who they vote for! If so maybe people are opting out, then the area should have a lot of people voting for moral people to be on the school board! But it's often an uncompensated, time consuming, thankless job

I’m in Colorado and deeply lamenting the fall of our city Denver. In the past 12 years since our first child was born it’s become almost unrecognizable to us. 😢 We have been working (and praying) hard on a family move to a red state. I know even blue cities in red states are battling, but our hope is that there is still a fighting chance to win some of those backs. I’m still all for making Red states redder.
But in all honesty, it’s gotta start in the church… and I’m very disappointed in the Colorado church as a whole , including my own. We are playing too many games of “we don’t want to get political” and so then.. we’ve lost our state. I don’t understand how this is a good witness. At all. It’s like Allie always says, politics matter because policy matters and policy matters because people matter. Our churches have inadvertently left us to the wolves..
This along with the firearms laws that CO is trying to pass is very upsetting as a Colorado born and raised citizen trying to raise my kids here.

My first thought was that this kind of insanity ought to produce the same kind of exodus from Colorado that has been plaguing California and Illinois. But really, your family is going to be almost completely immune to this contagion as long as you stay out of government schools. So, move to Colorado. Love your children enough to educate them at home. And vote these criminals out of power.

Grew up in Colorado Springs. My family is still there. I lived there 20 years and it makes me so sad. The Springs was known for the city where Christian non-profit ministries were growing and thriving. The spiritual battle over that state is so evident. We know Who wins in the end but that's not without saying darkness has taken over my beautiful home state.❤
