Script:
There are no faster ways.
There are no hacks.
If you wish to take the simple road, I promise you: it’s longer and more uncomfortable than the difficult roadway.
I’ve ventured down the easy roadway at times in my life and it never ever led to anywhere excellent. The favorable things in my life always came when I dealt with the most significant obstacles.
I signed up with the Navy. I took the difficult roadway in the Navy and made it into the SEAL Teams. There, I had the honor of leading guys in fight. I discovered some lessons along the method, lessons that have been checked on the battlefield and, when implemented, lead to success in any arena.
One of the best things I’ve learned is that anybody has what it takes to take a trip the difficult roadway– to walk The Path that results in success. That includes you. It won’t be easy. It will demand everything you’ve got to give. You can do it, and I want to give you three crucial principles I’ve learned that will assist you to get it done.
Principle primary: Discipline. Equals. Freedom.
That’s not a contradiction– it’s an equation. Discipline may appear to be the opposite of freedom. In truth, discipline is the path to liberty.
Discipline is the driver of day-to-day execution. Discipline defeats the unlimited reasons that hold you back.
Some people believe motivation is what will compel them to get things done. But motivation is just a feeling– a feeling, and like all sensations, it’s fickle: it goes and comes. When you need to get through really difficult times, you can’t count on inspiration to be there.
You can count on discipline. Discipline is something you dictate.
Inspiration isn’t going to get you out of bed in the early morning; discipline will. Make discipline part of your everyday life and your day-to-day life will get much better.
Principle Number Two: Stay. Modest.
In life, you are going to need to do things that you do not want to do. Maybe things that you don’t believe you should need to do– things that anger your precious ego.
when I got done with Basic SEAL Training and reported on board SEAL Team One
I was designated to clean toilets. That’s right– in spite of having simply graduated some of the most tough military training in the world, despite being assigned to an “elite” commando system– my very first mission at the actual SEAL Team was to clean toilets.
You know what? I did it. I did it to the very best of my capability and took pride in doing it well. Which attitude got noticed: if I cared that much about how clean the toilets were, individuals understood I would do a great task with even more crucial projects. After a short time period, I got those more vital tasks. It was humbleness that opened the door for me.
Now, being humble does not indicate that you should not be positive. You certainly need to believe that you are a capable person. However don’t let confidence turn into arrogance. Keep your ego in check and remain simple.

In truth, discipline is the path to freedom.
Inspiration won’t make you exercise every day; discipline will. Inspiration won’t stay up late and end up a project for you; discipline will. Motivation isn’t going to get you out of bed in the early morning; discipline will. Make discipline part of your daily life and your everyday life will get much better.
