Maybe you’ve heard someone state that Israel is an apartheid state. When did, that Israel has a policy of oppressing the minority and segregating population within its borders– like South Africa.

Possibly you’ve been so outraged by this details that you have thought of signing up with the BDS movement– the effort to boycott, divest and sanction Israel till it ends its supposed “racist” policies.

I do not blame you.

Apartheid is a terrific evil and deserves to be battled any place we find it.

Here’s the essential things: You will not find apartheid in the State of Israel.

I’ll put it openly: The BDS movement is a slick propaganda effort constructed on lies.

I think I have the credibility to make this claim.

Having really grown up in South Africa, and having really invested a reasonable quantity of time in Israel, I understand what apartheid is and what it is not. My papas and moms were raised under genuine apartheid where blacks were, by law, separated from whites at every level, from education to drinking fountains.

Blacks might not vote, could not own land, couldn’t live next to, or make use of the exact same transportation system as whites. I remember my daddy telling me about how my grandpa was kicked and humiliated in public by a young white kid. All he was allowed to state was, “Please stop, little manager.” That was the world my family lived in.

That was the world of apartheid South Africa.

In Israel, the law is color-blind. Israeli Arabs have the exact same rights as Israeli Jews. They ride the very same buses, research study in the exact same schools, and are handled in the same hospitals. Arabs are selected to Israel’s parliament, work as judges, and battle in the Israeli armed force.

On my very first trip to Israel, the group I was with had a Jewish tourist guide and an Arab bus chauffeur. Imagine our surprise, having heard that Israel is an apartheid state. This would have been inconceivable in apartheid South Africa.

All these things would be self-evident to anyone who did any type of real research study, or, even far better, went to Israel– something I motivate everyone to do.

BDS does not prefer you to do research study or visit Israel. It succeeds by using the excellent objectives of terrific individuals through deliberate deceptiveness.

Simply put, they lie.

Due to the reality that lies empower evil, and lies in fact make me upset.

Lies about blacks empowered apartheid in South Africa.

Lies about Jews made the Holocaust possible.

And lies about Israel are misguiding a lot of good-hearted youths into opposing the only country in the entire Middle East that does not segregate and oppress its minority population. Just ask the next Egyptian Copt or Iraqi Christian you please on school.

So, the concern people should really be asking is: What does the BDS movement desire?

The answer is easy. They want to ruin Israel. They can’t do it militarily, so they try to do it through lies.
