I was called an “extremist” by a mother-like figure whom I’ve known and loved for a very long time from my church. She hung up on me and I was dumbfounded. Everything I said came straight from the Bible and apparently it offended her. I thought, oh well, I’m an extremist for Christ and his truth then! Love listening to you preach, Pastor Jack! The Word of God is the Authority over a believer not a person. When a person or a Pastor brings forth the Truth from the Word of God, we submit to that Word not that man/woman. Jesus is the Word – there is our Authority!
Chuck Missler was my mentor, I love him, he gave me a hunger and thirst for the Word of God. That was in the eighties, and I learn something new every day.
