The original Greek word is ἀρσενοκοῖται: Broken into its roots, it translates as “Men who bed/penetrate other men”
So instead of just saying that, in 1946 they changed it to “homosexuality”. It’s wild how half a story becomes a huge revelation for justifying sin.
Actually they changed it again it actually was translated as man shall not lie with young man as with a woman and it really meant to be like predatory behavior and the American company who owns NIV paid for these countries to change it being that America is corrupt

Homosexuality is a sin whether you like it or not. You can make excuses and try to justify sin but you will go before God on judgement day.
No one should change to believe in Christ. In fact, whether you’re gay or a pedophile or a murderer, or a liar, or a fornicator or whatever, we come to the cross, broken and contrite over our sin, and in that process, Christ cleans us up.
It is the blessed man who’s sins are covered but remember what first John says, those born from above do not continue practicing sin so clearly a cleaning up happens when one becomes regenerate.

+ They also stated, that having homosexual members in the own tribe, gives several evolutionary advantages, which explains the permanent share of 4-10% homosexuals of the population.

ἀρσενοκοῖται in this regards for 1 Corinthians 6:9 is referring specifically to same sex male relationships.

If you use the king James version it's 100% not correct. It's from 1600s. 1946 would not have made a difference.

It is an invention by Paul describing the sin. Homosexual didn't exist. So Paul made a word with 2 separate parts. He also says.
Likewise the women exchanged natural relations with men for strange relations with other women directly afterwards. Sooo… we know this is not about kid bedding… this is specifically calling the relationship of same sex couples a strange and unnatural one… see Roman's 1 for more info.

Well said. As an atheist, I find that argument so stupid. Yes I disagree with how the bible views same sex relationships, but those verses weren't added in the last 100 years lmao.
God doesn't care of you are attracted to and want to have sex with the same sex. God only wants sex to be between a man and a woman who are bonded in marriage. Anything else is against God's will, and sin. WE have free will and so are free to think and do what we want, but God has moral rules to which we are to live if we want to be in a relationship with God, and be able to be with him in eternity after this mortal life.
Our thoughts are our own and we are temped to do things which go against the will of God, but it is ony when we have those thoughts which are against the Will of God, and succumb to the temptation, acting on it, that we sin.
One is not doomed by being a homosexual, lesbian, pedophile, or any other manner of thought which acted upon is sin, but only by acting on those thoughts which are against the Will of God, is it sin and if we do not repent and accept Jesus as our Lord, and savior that we are doomed.

I really hope Sean McDowell doesn't actually embrace homosexuality as ok. That video was very out of context sounding but I'd be interested to see if this was taken out of context.
It didn't use the actual word which is a relatively new term, but God was 100% clear about same-sex perversion.
