At the core of left-wing thought is a denial of agonizing truths, the rejection of what the French call les faits de la vie, realities of life. Conservatives, on the other hand, are all too aware of the agonizing truths of life, and base a number of their positions on them.
One example of this left-right distinction is the varying mindsets towards humanity and responsibility for evil. One factor they do is that ever because the Enlightenment the Left has actually presumed that human nature is excellent when liberals blame violent criminal activity on hardship. So, then, when people do bad things to other individuals, the Left argues that some outdoors forces– generally hardship and, when it comes to non-white crooks, bigotry– are responsible, not humanity.
Why? Due to the fact that people on the Left discover it too agonizing to look reality in the eye and acknowledge that human nature is deeply flawed.
Another reality of life that the Left discovers too unpleasant to acknowledge is the existence of extensive differences between ladies and guys. There is no other description for the rejection of what has actually been apparent to every previous generation in history– that women and men are naturally different.
Many individuals, influenced by left-wing thought, think that girls are as happy to play with trucks as are kids, and young boys are as pleased to play with dolls and tea sets as are girls.
Why do they think such silliness? Due to the fact that acknowledging many of those distinctions hurts.
For instance, feminists and others on the Left do not want to acknowledge that men are far more efficient in having mentally worthless sex than ladies. Feminism has taught generations of young women that they are simply as capable of taking pleasure in emotionless sex with lots of partners as are men. The truth is that the great majority of ladies are deeply disappointed with the link culture and yearn to bond with a man a lot more than they desire professional success. Feminism came up with the famous and incorrect expression, “A female without a guy is like a fish without a bike” to counter the painful reality that a lot of ladies feel incomplete without a man in their life– just as, I may include, the majority of men feel insufficient without a female. Ironically, however, many males have no difficulty acknowledging this.
This is what the notion of Political Incorrectness is everything about. The very definition of “Politically Incorrect” is a fact that people on the Left discover too painful to acknowledge– and therefore do not desire revealed.
The reason is too painful for the Left to acknowledge and therefore it is politically inaccurate to say it: Young black males dedicate an out of proportion amount of violent criminal offense. Since the Left doesn’t want to hear truths or viewpoints that cause them pain.
