Law of Attraction and Word of Faith are diametrically opposed. If you don't see that, your understanding of Gods Word of faith is erroneous.
The Bible is not just to be studied but to be lived. The Word is the flesh which we are, the word. We are a part of God, I am the vine, you are the branches, without Me you can do nothing. We can can’t do anything without Him, nor argument about that. You can’t feel good your way out of tribulation, you can’t positive think your way out of life either. Submit yourselves to God, resist the devil and he will flee. That’s what must be done.
Here is God's formula: Study the word, believe the word and do the word, then God will bless you !! Don't follow what people say, study God's words and do what HE says !!
My question to this young lady is ‘have you taken the time to research the ‘fraudulant’ scientific research supporting the ‘virus’ theory? I’m guessing not. You believe they exist because you were told they exist and have maybe seen ‘computer’ generated pictures of these supposed disease causing particles. Particles that have never been isolated nor through scientific research have be ‘proven’ to be the cause of disease. Let me say it again, the existence of a virus or that it is the cause of disease has NEVER been proven. It’s a theory. Just as ‘germs’ whatever they are, as the cause of disease is also just a ‘theory’. These theories have led to the belief that health, wellness, and your very life is dependent on ‘pharmakia’. The ingestion or administration of harmful chemicals into the body that override and manipulate the bodies natural function away from its original design by God. Just look at the symbols for the healthcare system, the Rod of Asclepius and the Caduceus. Both depict SNAKES on a pole. ‘Pharmakia is sorcery and the Bible has a few things to say about it. We have been brainwashed to believe that health is maintained by ingesting chemicals. I am a RN who has come out of this satanic system of deception called ‘healthcare’ that is designed not for health, but to destroy the physical bodies that were created in God’s image. It’s demonic.
For me it was the tyranny of positivity and the refusal to acknowledge the evil in the world. I could not make sense of it any other way apart from thru Christianity. The law of attraction just exhausted me in the end. God’s will is so much greater than pursuing my agenda. Also the Bible embraces our suffering and lamenting and in Christ it can be transformed and used for good.
Great topic and discussion. One thing you may want to research a bit. Back in 2020 we started studying virology and immunology because of the harmful mandates around the world. Well it turns out that even with in these "sciences" there is great debate and disagreement! In fact no one has yet to see(isolate) ANY virus. It's worth also studying Pastuer (sp). We don't have any power it is either the powers of darkness working through us or if we are in Christ the power of the Holy Spirit we have no power. All else that contradicts this is witchcraft basically.

There is suffering, Jesus suffered and we will too. There is also needless suffering. I know my God and He is the great Physician and His word is medicine. There is power when we pray His word. You will be surprised when you realize that new Ageism has stolen from and are copying God because there are spiritual laws He created they are just leaving Him out of it. As for certain pastors, they have distorted God’s truth and tickled people’s ears with it for their personal gain and monetary riches and no that’s not what it is either. So both are a distortion of Gods truth because again they are both pushing Him out of it and it self centered. Then there are the people who really just don’t understand the full picture but just regurgitating the “power of words” and are missing knowledge, they can’t explain why. You must learn God’s character and His nature and who Jesus is. We desire wisdom, love, healing, etc and all of this is actually a person and that is Jesus, He IS the treasure and that is for us as born again believers. Now you must ask what is born again really mean? We are a new creation, our spirit is new united with His Holy Spirit, therefore we are ALREADY living our eternal life now. Eternal Life started when you were… Born AGAIN! Our body and soul must now catch up to the Truth. Our minds need renewal and we need to know our New Identity for transformation. So it’s not just speak positive, it’s so much better and greater! Realize what Jesus did for us was amazing, not only did He give us a way to Heaven but He gave us Heaven NOW. He says MY People (saved ones) are perishing (not living an abundant life as He gives life, rivers of Living water!) they are perishing from lack of knowledge… now ask what knowledge are we missing that His people are perishing?! Do not just study scripture and deny the power of it as the Word also says.
It's because people occasionally READ the Bible instead of STUDYING the Bible.
Speaking of scripture in its own context, how would you deal with these scriptures that are very clear in the parsing of the words of the original language. In order for these scriptures to fit into typical evangelical theology, they must be twisted and made to say something other than what they say. Curious.
Concerning what many people refer to as salvation, several things are true. These things are done to humanity by God, without any requirement from them.
First we have been REDEEMED (aorist passive indicative) which indicates something done to us at a point in time, in this case by God. 1 Pet 1:18-19
Next, we have been JUSTIFIED (aorist passive participle) Rom 5:9
Redemption and Justification were done to us BY the blood of Christ. No conditions.
We were also RECONCILED (aorist passive indicative) BY the death of Christ. Rom 5:10 Again done to us at a point in time, BY God. No associated conditions.
Lastly, we were BORN AGAIN (aorist active participle) 1Pet 1:3 which was God performing the action of begetting us again at a point in time. That point in time was the resurrection of Christ. Also 1 Pet 1:23 we were born again (perfect passive participle) which means completed in the past with continuing effects.
We were born again (anagennaō) as God’s children (genos) which the Apostle Paul describes in Acts 17 when he tells the pagan idol worshippers he was speaking to, that we are all the offspring (genos) of God, and IN HIM, we live and move and have our being.
And prior to being born again in and through the resurrection of Christ, we were redeemed, justified and reconciled, by His blood and death.
These things are true of every human being, past, present, and future.
Believing, repenting (metanoia), and confessing are part of the process of experiencing subjectively, what was already objectively true of us.
Therefore what many call evangelism, is not an invitation to invite Christ into one’s life, it is a declaration that Father, Son and Spirit are already in one’s life. This leads to beginning to live and develop in our relationship as God’s children.
People are not separated from God (in Him ALL things consist), and don’t need to “get saved”, because they already are His children. We simply need to become aware of who and what we are, and begin living in the benefit of it.
Found out recently that early Christians who were actually believers had to ask for a Catholic church to find a real church early on because the majority of "churches" became gnostic extremely quickly. Churches get rotted out by the enemy quickly. It's always been a problem but nowadays "church" elders don't even know heresy is a thing

I always bring the suffering of Paul and the disciples into the conversation asking them if Paul was outside the will of God.

This lady is gaslighting with idioms with no foundation of a premise. GODS word talks about lifting people up, why would you not do that, its evil, not to. Toxic positivity? Context please, i see discourse that may be this especially in corporate settings, the bible also says life is in the mouth, no one wants to hear negativity and complaining. The issue may relate to an ethical consequence thats bad, and thats different. No one wants to here negativity. She explains very little and horribly. If it points to an untruth against reality, there should be a debate on the context. Like political discourse, rhetoric and dialectic approaches to whatever this lady is really talking about
I agree with your analysis of the Word of Faith movement. However, it greatly saddens me that so many Christians, including those who are theologically orthodox, reject what is well known about the physical world, and so often, the orthodox Christians will claim conspiracy theory as well. Examples are that mRNA vaccines change a person's DNA, that the Covid-19 vaccines killed millions, that microwave ovens kill the nutrients in your food (nutrients are not living, so death is not possible), high-voltage power lines near your home will harm your health, that magnetic fields from one's electric car are harmful, that touching the ground with bare feet will improve one's health, that radiometric dating of rocks is unreliable, that social media is a reliable source of truthful information, etc., etc.
It also puzzles me as to why God permitted the Christian opponents of Galileo and Copernicus to disagree with them. Also, why did He include in the Bible the verses that seem to reject the teaching of those two men, such as 1 Samuel 2:8, 1 Chron 16:30, Ps 93:1, Ps 96:10, Ps 102:25, and Ps 104:5? The Christians thought that the Bible supported their position, but it doesn't. The Christians were wrong.
Thats why Christianity is looked upon as a 'crazy religion' at times, by observance of the WOF people who claim flu season isnt a reality.
You divide the church. I believe Jesus is Lord. I read it daily. God is Creator of everything. There is nothing He cannot do. He’s the God who parted the Red Sea, appeared to Moses in a burning bush, provided manna in the wilderness, sent 10 plagues to Egypt, protected the Jews in Goshen, fed the 5,000 with 5 loaves of bread, healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, how dare you leave Him powerless. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. The people came to Jesus to be healed, and often came to faith after he healed them. You are the pharisees and sadducees. You are white washed tombs. You look good on the outside, but refuse to search your hearts. For all fall short of the glory of God. Unless you become like little children you will not enter into the Kingdom of God. The reason we read all the miracles is because that’s an aspect of who He is.

There are extremes on both sides. The Truth is out there. God does not want us to suffer! Parents do not want their kids to suffer! However, parents and God can you suffering to teach but it is always the result of rebellion. That rebellion may be in the part of the child or someone else but suffering is part of rebellion. Just see Deuteronomy 28 as a prime example.
