When I got out of bed the morning of May 31, 2020 after a sleepless night, I comprehended I needed to do something.
I didn’t understand what. Or what I would define.
I had in fact heard all the claims about bigotry, racial injustice, and police officers cruelty. I was also horrified about what was occurring to my welcomed nation, my precious America.
And I merely could not take it any longer. I might not keep it inside.
I went to among these presentations and I did the most American thing I could believe about: I informed the protesters precisely what I thought.
I confess– I wasn’t genuinely diplomatic.
Perhaps that’s why my remarks went viral. You can discover them easily on YouTube.
Lots of people appreciated me for what I stated. Great deals of disliked me. I do not care in either case. I didn’t do this for me. I did it for America, the absolute best nation worldwide.
And I know what I’m discussing.
I was born in Cameroon, a nation in West Africa. I shake my head when I hear people go over corruption and civil rights abuses here in the United States.

Which brings me back to May 31st which park in Washington, DC.
Mr. Floyd should not have really passed away as he did. Make no mistakes: Black Lives Matter and their allies are utilizing George Floyd’s death to divide Americans apart at the very minute we should be coming together. They stick out at the heart of this country– twisting the knife of white remorse with one hand, and black bitterness with the other.
These demonstrations are not about empowering black individuals. They have to do with disempowering black people.
When the fires stop burning, all that stays is pity, anger, and despondence considered that. That’s not empowerment. That’s injustice.
Have a look at the innocent victims– the company owners, much of them black, who have in truth lost their life’s work to break-in and arson. What are they expected to do now? Who cleans up the graffiti and the shattered glass?
