Today we’re discussing the “Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act,” which was passed by the House yesterday. This bill would enforce that babies born alive in attempted abortion procedures receive medical care to help them live or admit them to a hospital. Unsurprisingly, all but one Democrat opposed the bill. We look at some of the debates from the House, namely from Democratic congresswomen who think the bill is extremist. One even claims Scripture as evidence for her pro-choice beliefs. We also look at a referendum the House passed that aims to hold the Biden administration accountable for attacks on pro-life pregnancy centers. Then, we’re joined by Ericka Andersen, author of “Reason to Return: Why Women Need the Church and the Church Needs Women,” to discuss the need for women in the church and why they should feel urgency to go back. We cover advice for moms and why taking your kids to church is worth prioritizing, as well as how to even find a good church (Ericka’s “How to Find a New Church 101” can help, as well as https://church.founders.org).

Hey, you want to live in Constitutional Republic where Democrats have equal rights as you. What do you expect? You are a defending a system that gives your enemies the right to legally cancel you.
Umm…..if you don't go to Church, I highly doubt that you're a Christian
The ORTHODOX Church is the only true Church.
A transformed or renewed mind knows that our thinking is governed by the principles of the God of the Bible. Period.
Well God killed his son so….
He also killed everyone on the earth.
Killed the first born of all those egyptians
Crisis pregnancy centers masquerade what they are. That's the real issue just say "intro to the adoption process" don't pretend you hand out condoms and birth control when in actuality you just push a narrative the fuels your white savior complex
Have you ever been in a planned parenthood? Have you ever been inside one? Because my husband and I needed birth control and we had to fight past a crowd of protesters. Even though NO ABORTIONS ARE DONE AT THAT CLINIC
The lip snear you're so great at hating black women.
Thank you, Allie, for telling it like it is. They even dare to say that the hearts beats heard on ultrasound is just fake or sound from tissue, not a real heart beat. I dont understand why we have to put up with these people.
Girl, WHAT?!
What do you do when there isn't a solid Bible believing church within 45/60 minutes of where you live? And you have two adult children with special needs and there's no provision for them?
You’re one or the other, not both.
This is a tactic of the Left that I notice more and more: use a Bible verse (taken out of context) to justify anything like abortion rights, killing babies who survive abortion, etc. It's highly offensive to me and blasphemous, in my opinion.
“Make space in your life to be inconvenienced”. Amen
I'd like to add that it's also hard to find a good church when so many of them are going off the rails. I had to leave a church a while back for some issues we had with the church leadership refusing to denounce Bethel, and I haven't found a new one yet. Partially because we left right before the pandemic, so then we just didn't go anywhere for a long while. But we are also a bit disillusioned with how many churches we see seeing teach things that aren't quite right. I'd rather not go to church than go to a church that is teaching false things.
I'd also like to remind you, as you talk about verses that mention "the church," that the church I'd the body of Christ, not a building with people in in every Sunday. So I think it's worth noting that you can be a part of the body and do all of those things, like meeting together and being iron sharpening iron, without necessarily attending Sunday morning services in a specific building. Home church is still church. The Bible doesn't say that "church" has to mean gathering together in a large group every Sunday to sing worship songs and listen to a sermon.
In fact, I think a lot of people who simply go to service on Sundays and that's it, aren't really being a part of "the church" in the way that Christ meant, as much as people who are getting involved in their community, serving and ministering with other Christians, having good discipleship relationships, etc, but might not be going to an actual "church" on Sundays.
I do really want to find a new church, though. I used to have a good spiritual relationship with my family, but about a year ago they started going to a progressive church and affirming LGBT stuff. So I don't feel like I can trust them anymore to be a good spiritual sounding board in my life. So where I used to feel like I was kind of okay with not going to church, I now feel like I'm really craving that community. It would have been nice to have a prayer group and a good pastor when I first found out about my family's change in direction. I yearned for someone to talk to about how to handle all of that, and my husband and I really only had each other and the wisdom of people like you, Alisa Childers, Mike Winger, etc.
Yeah, I am a lapsed Catholic myself, trying to return to the faith but as I am pro-choice advocate, no matter how much of a 'safe, legal, and rare' moderate that I consider myself to be, I can not make the full leap because of my conflicting beliefs.
Abortion is a Catholic issue. It is not a Christian issue.
Also, abortion at nine months should be appalling even to atheists.
The proper term is pro murder not pro choice. Sometimes words do matter.
My sister had 2 abortions. I don’t talk to her. She’s needs to change before I have a relationship with her.
