Isaiah 46 – God’s Judgement upon Babylon – How did God used this to teach Israel a lesson?
In this chapter, God teaches Israel a tough lesson on obedience and how not to succumb to idol praise. He utilizes Babylon as a clear example on how not to follow other gods of silver and gold, due to the fact that they do not listen, nor they speak.

“I am God and there is no other God next to me” Israel was falling away from God, nevertheless He patiently needed to teach them that there are results if they do not keep His guidelines and statues.
