All of us have family histories of immigration. Not one, not one of our family histories were here in the United States before Native Americans. We need to stop fighting each other and come up with a solution – DACA is not perfect but it is start to get illegal residents registered/documented and working/paying taxes/building strength. Illegal is illegal
DACA is a tough one because on the one hand, it isn't these youth who committed an act of crime and this is basically all they know, so you are sending them into an environment that they are completely unfamiliar with. However…on the other hand, if you allow them full access with an easy path to citizenship, you send a very strong message that if you commit a crime in bringing a child here, you will still have provided a better life for that child. It's the same problem as the so-called "okay, this is the absolutely last time we will do amnesty"…no one believes it, so every time you do an amnesty, you get a flood of people.
As much as I dislike punishing people for the crimes of their parents, I think the only actual stance you can take here is a hard line…you must send the message that if you want to enter the United States, you need to do it legally and according to the rules that we have set up. This is particularly true of people committing crimes…anyone who commits an additional crime should automatically be stripped of any DACA protection and sent back to where their parents brought them from. Hopefully they still have family there they are in contact with or this becomes very ugly for them.
We need a dreamer test. If you been on welfare since you been here, your out. If you been working and paying taxes like a good citizen. Your in.

It does not make any sense as thousands of Liberians will be allowed to get their green cards by the year 2020. Whereas a half-million college-educated Americanized DACA folks are told to leave in fear of deportation. Just because Liberians are black African people are given more preferential treatment than DACA folks who are a majority of Hispanic demographic 🤔

DACA was never a law passed. It was an illegal executive order by Obama. He had no authority to give blanket immunity to hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants. Our immigration law nor any other countries has an exemption for children.
Why should we reward the law breakers or their children for breaking the law in the first place? That simply sends the message to others to break our laws, and we'll eventually reward them for having done so. If a US citizen breaks a law and gets away with it for a number of years before it's discovered, that doesn't absolve him of the crime. Why should this be any different? Anytime a parent breaks a law, he puts his or her children at risk for the consequences of that crime.
It is against the Constitution. Their parent knew They were all illegal. Deport them To their countries They are not special. Theirs à lot of Americans that would like to go free always. Their the ones should get the free ride, not the illegals. They already think their above Americans. You don't reward law breakers.

Yes they broke the law but they did it unknowingly as CHILDREN. Why should they get punished by being deported to a country they aren’t familiar with at all?? Same reason why you don’t give a child the same punishment for driving and crashing a car as you would give to the parent who’s responsible for that child. Fact is, dreamers already have to pay a ton of money every two years to renew their DACA and have to follow guidelines as well. Most of them do so much good and contribute to our country.
