At seminary we're taught the Bible is NOT a science book & is INCORRECT regarding modern science. I was wrong! As a Baptist pastor It took months before I could accept the Bible and repeatable evidence.
I am sorry and know it sounds crazy but the Jesuit's counter reformation needed to gain power back for the Pope. About 500 years ago Jesuit's took over the educational system to discredit the Bible so the Pope would be God's authority and NOT the Bible.
