Matthew 16 – Part 3 – Jesus shall be crucified and be RAISED again on the third DAY!

Matthew chapter 16 explained. In this episode, we see how Jesus began telling His disciples how he shall die and be raised again on the third day, which was fulfilled to the letter.

Peter then, rebuked Jesus saying that He shall go far so that these things do not happen to Him, but Jesus’ answer to Peter was “depart from me Satan for you do not know the things of God but the things of men”. This tell us that we as believers must comply with God’s will and not with our desires.

About Baruch: R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L’amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).
