Matthew 17 – Part 1 – Jesus was Transfigured before Peter, James and John

Matthew 17 explained. In this episode, we will go into detail about the transfiguration of Jesus before His apostles as he took them to the mountain. His face shone as the sun and his appearance turned to light.

While this extraordinary event, happened, Jesus began talking to Moses and Elijah who suddenly appeared before all of them. Peter however asked Jesus if it was good for them to be there ad in this moment a voice sounded saying “This is my beloved Son”

About Baruch: R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L’amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
