Matthew 19 – Part 2 – Forbid them not to come to me – For of such os the KINGDOM of HEAVEN

Matthew 19 explained. In this episode we will go through how a young man would not be willing to sell all of his possessions in order to follow Christ. He had great possessions and preferred turning his back on Christ.

For us believers, this should be a perfect example on how we ought not to act. If indeed God does not condemn having money, it is important to prioritize the things of the kingdom rather than the things of man.

About Baruch: R. Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L’amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was in the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for over 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.
