Matthew 26 — Part 1 — The Feast of Passover, Death, and Redemption
Matthew 26 explained. In Chapter 26 of the book of Matthew, we learn the close relation between Passover and death. Many Pharisees have gathered to plot the death of Jesus, which was to happen at night to avoid an uproar of the people.
Also, this chapter talks about a woman who anoints the Messiah with oil. All necessary components to celebrate passover have taken place. Jesus was anointed for burial, and we see the relation between passover and death.
