There is no such human person that will be the antichrist. Satan is the antichrist. The "he" mentioned in Daniel 9-27 is JESUS! Not antichrist! THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING!

The Popes Are The Antichrist Beast Of Revelation. The antichrist beast is an office, not one man. It’s fulfilled by the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome. They rose to power out of the sea of people of the ten kingdoms of the fallen Roman Empire. They reigned in civil and ecclesiastic power for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD. Kings bowed to their authority. They banned and burned the Scriptures and persecuted the saints.
The Pope’s title is Vicar of Christ, which in Latin is ‘Vicarius Filii Dei,’ equates numerically to 666. In the Greek, 666 is Chi-Xi-Stigma. Chi=Christ, Xi=nail, Stigma=cross. It points to the crucifix, which keeps Messiah on the cross. This image mocks Messiah as anyone on a cross is cursed. It is a false idol of the antichrist beast
The Popes sit in the temple, the body of believers, as they proclaim to lead Messiah’s church. They have proclaimed to be God and to forgive sins, which is blasphemy, and it denies God. The Popes, the man of sin, have caused Catholics to break the ten commandments; by having other gods; by calling the Pope ‘the Holy Father;’ by having graven images of Mary; by causing priests to be celibate. By professing sins to a priest.
What the Popes teach is contrary to Scripture. They teach that Mary is sinless, salvation is through her, and she is the Intercessor to the Father. They teach that priests can forgive sins.
Revelation 18:4 : And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
The "people of the ruler who is to come" are not Romans (Italians), they are Assyrians. Rome conscripted a local army in that region because there were not enough Italians to span out throughout their vast footprint. Most of the legions that were stationed in Jerusalem at the time of Christ were from the surrounding people from various Arab nations. So while Rome gets credit for destroying the city of Jerusalem in 70AD, they are not "the people of the ruler who is to come."
So who are the Assyrians? Syria. Arab. Muslim. The Anti-Christ comes from the people who live in the region of Syria. Who lives in Syria? Muslims. SO the Anti-Christ is going to come from a Muslim nation. This is confirmed in Daniel 11:37-38. He will not honor the gods of his ancestors but will honor a god of fortresses. Ishmael worshipped the God of Abraham. It took several generations of his descendants to fall away from Elohim. Eventually that lineage became the modern day Muslim religion. A religion of violence, which is what "a god of fortresses" means.
And the biggest clue from Daniel 9:26 comes from the New King James Version which says "the people of the prince who is to come."

What happens when you allow a cancer cell to grow? When the only purpose of the cell is to cause harm, it must me eradicated or removed from the host or it spreads. As long as there is so much hate this problem will not be solved.
Peace in the Middle East will be easy for the antichrist. The peace treaty will be between Jews and Islamic people. The Jews are waiting on the messiah, and the Muslims are waiting on the Mahdi. The Jews will see the antichrist as their long-awaited messiah, and the Muslims will view the antichrist as the Mahdi. So both Israel and Islam will capitulate to the wishes of the antichrist.
I like Mark and Jimmy but I agree with some of you that don’t understand why they are charging a monthly subscription when most others don’t such as Tiff Shuttlesworth. What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine?
Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.
The Capitol "C" Church, as we use the word today, is not found in the entire Book of Revelation. Individual church bodies in ancient Asia Minor are found. In Revelation 12:11 we find those under the blood of the Lamb. A person cannot be under the blood of the Lamb and not be a part of the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ. Verse 12 of this passage proves at least part of the tribulation period is the wrath of Satan upon the people of God.
Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The gathering of the Church is described at the end of 1 Thess. Chapter 4, and the timing of the event is found in chapter 5. The word “But” in the first verse of chapter 5 connects the two chapters, and the words “we” and “sleep” in verse 10 of chapter 5 prove the two chapters are connected.
The Greek words for “wrath” and “tribulation” are not the same word, as proven by the verse below.

Based on Hebrews 12:22-24, the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26 cannot be separated from the New Covenant fulfilled by His blood at Calvary. See the words "church" and "mount Sion" and "new covenant" and "Jesus" and "blood" in the passage.
Are we supposed to believe the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant. Or, is the covenant with the many in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the many in Matthew 26:28? The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America, before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War. What was the earlier understanding of Daniel 9:27 found below in the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible?

The Antichrist has to be the Imam Mahdi of Islam—their long-awaited final Caliph. They expect the arrival of this person to unify the Islamic world, and broker peace between the Muslims and Jews. Who can assure peace between these two groups other than the one who can sway control over all Muslim nations? The Mahdi will establish universal, albeit superficial, peace and prosperity. A Western politician or bureaucrat waltzing on the scene will be laughed and scorned at, especially by the anti-western Islamic coalition. And beware, because the Mahdi will be joined by a man claiming to be Jesus returned as a prophet—the False Prophet.

In order for the Jewish people to accept the Antichrist wouldn't he have to be Jewish and have a Jewish background. I don't think they will accept just anyone.
