Praise the Lord everyone. I come form a Hindu family in India. My brother had been baptized 2 to 3 years ago. Before coming to christ, he had a drinking and smoking habit. After coming to christ, he left everything and was living a peaceful life. Now we have moved to Canada, he has started drinking and smoking again. It has been almost more than a year. He comes home every night drunk. When I try to talk to him through the word of God he says that he knows what I am talking about and he does not want to live according to bible right now. He goes to parties even in this time of lockdown. He's is saying he doesnot want to conisder the word of God and he loves the way he lives. I pray for him everyday. Please help me with your prayers to get back my brother. Satan has fooled him. He even says that he's going to heaven because He believes in Christ but he does not want to repent.

I disagree with a part and the bible is clear on this. You do not go to heaven or hell when you die, you sleep until the second coming. David is asleep. Even Jesus didn't rise to the father when we died for forty days! He said not to touch him as he has not risen to the father. Over and over again you sleep. Why would Jesus bring Lazarus back from "sleeping" and death if he was already in heaven? Could you imagine Lazarus? "LORD!! What are you doing!? I was in heaven!"… The dead will rise in Christ at the second coming. The spirit returns when you die but without breath and spirit, there is no soul. This is what the bible teaches. Samuel wasn't called up by the medium for King Saul, it was an angel of light masking himself as Samuel. Samuel is asleep. Only a few that we know of have gone on to heaven.

Hi I am an atheist and the analogy used by Ray at 1:34 is wrong and doesn’t represent what the atheist propose. I will try my best to fix the issue. But before I do that I just want to say that the reason why I am doing this is because i have seen Ray do this a few times before even when he is corrected by atheist and yet he still uses these false representations which is in my opinion very dishonest and lead me astray when I was still a Christian.

If there is an all knowing god then he knows all the evil before it happens. If he’s all powerful, he could end it. If he’s all good then he wants to end it but evil still exists. Atheist claim that these a contradictory because they cannot all be true at the same time. What Christians will do is put up the free will defense. The problem isn’t resolved however because it only speaks about moral evil. It doesn’t give an explanation of natural evil such as hurricanes and earthquakes. The free will defense also presupposes that humans do have free will. I believe that we do not because if the past is fixed meaning that nothing we do can change the past, then the future is fixed despite the fact that there is a endless choices you could make.

Jesus proposes a choice in The Bible: Believe in me (for those who believe it is by faith alone and not by works), believe in me and keeps my commandments (for those who believe it is by faith and works) ( check Gal 2:16, Romans 3:28, Matt 19:17, Luke 10:26-28, and James 2:24 based on what you believe even though there are two answers) The choice isn’t a good one. Either you commune with me in eternal bliss or perish in never ending sulfur where your eyes are being eaten by worms everyday for eternity for finite sin.

Finally, the reason why you can’t convert a rational atheist is because you don’t choose your beliefs. I was an atheist from the inside out meaning that like many of you I believed in God and I watched these videos to help me become a better evangelical Christian. I read my Bible everyday but once I started studying the Bible and not taking it at face value as being inherit, non contradictory, word of god I became an atheist. Thank you.

How do get you saved?

D Harp - posted on June 23, 2020 7:45 am

This man behind these videos is off and not saved himself. He believes repent and believe with you heart and you shall be saved. That’s only part true but not how you obtain salvation. Faith without works is dead. Faith alone CANNOT save you. You need works. You need baptism and the Holyghost. John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of WATER and of the SPIRIT, he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God.

Repent does not mean to quit sinning. This is not possible.
Should we try? Sure. Are there certain things we should most certainly stop doing? Absolutely, but to tell someone in order for God to save them, 1st they need to quit sinning, THEN trust in Jesus The Creator manifest in flesh.
That poor thief on the cross if this is true. Its not. It's to feel remorse for wrongs and a change of mind.

Romans 2:4

“Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?”

Is eternal life a free gift ?
Rom 11:2929 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

Eph1:13 Gives the steps to salvation
Eph1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Every religious teacher adds their self righteousness religious performance to the word of God.

REPENT', verb intransitive [Latin re and paeniteo, from paena, pain. Gr. See Pain.]

1. To feel pain, sorrow or regret for something done or spoken; as, to repent that we have lost much time in idleness or sensual pleasure; to repent that we have injured or wounded the feelings of a friend. A person repents only of what he himself has done or said.

2. To express sorrow for something past.

Enobarbus did before thy face repent

3. To change the mind in consequence of the inconvenience or injury done by past conduct.

Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return. Exodus 13:17.

4. Applied to the Supreme Being, to change the course of providential dealings. Genesis 6:7. Psalms 106:45.

5. In theology, to sorrow or be pained for sin, as a violation of God's holy law, a dishonor to his character and government, and the foulest ingratitude to a Being of infinite benevolence.

Except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish. Luke 13:3. Acts 3:19.

Ray Comfort. Thank you for your inspiration and knowledge. With these things and by the grace of God I've been able to witness to my entire family! I was recently saved by out Lord, Jesus. He's delivered me from eternal damnation, the bondage of sin, and began to renew my mind, body, soul, and heart! What a wonderful blessing and miracle. He's filled me with His Spirit and everyday He allows me to grow in Him.What a wonderful thing to be saved by Jesus and to desire that His will be done. I can't wait to get out and follow in our Lords evangelical foot steps.

Just know that you can't get to Heaven at all by your works. You can only make it to Heaven by putting your trust in Christ's death, burial and resurrection. If you trust in anything else you're going to hell.

I am a Christian, Can anyone help me understand something please. I understand that the wages of sin is death and that is why all humans die, but animals don't sin so why do they die?

Ray, you are going to debate dillahunty soon… Be aware, he will use his body language, his condescending tone to embarass you like he did with David wood and Dinesh. Study his body language, he will usually not even look at you in the eyes. It will always seem like his opponent is more interested in convincing him and he will dismiss it in a laid back manner. He will say that your evidence is insufficient. He will say that only God knows how to convince him. The burden of proof will solely be on you. Debating is about body language too. The more sincere your body language, the more you will seem to lose. And you seem like a sincere person, so watch out. He will ridicule you and it will be effective, if you don't know what you are up against.
