QUESTION: Who is Mystery Babylon?
I think you are a great teacher Jack Hibbs but the idea that you cannot be saved after the rapture if you have heard the gospel is just a silly idea! and it comes form a very loose interpretation of 2 Thessalonians. We are to plant seeds now and after the rapture many of those we Christians spoke to about the rapture will realize what really happened and they will be tribulation Saints. This is a horrible teaching and really goes against the character and nature of God. that is one of the purposes of the Tribulation so that many will come to repentance.
I love answering people's questions. You guys are great thank you so much. I'm post trib pre wrath. Thank you for the video
Have you noticed how vehemently the pretrib rapture doctrine is attacked. Not to say that others aren't attacked as well, but the pretrib especially. It's like a fight has been picked. Paul tells Timothy to avoid speculation knowing that it causes quarrels…. so according to Word of God, 'speculation' is a strong culprit for initiating quarrels. If the church were to take a stand against speculation in eschatology, the quarrels would come to a quick halt. For example; we are often told that the raptured are changed to incorruptible…" Which seems like a beautiful piece of poetry, however it is contrary to what Paul stated.
First of all, Paul called the event in this passage (1 Cor. 15:42-54), the "resurrection of the dead" (see vs. 42), which of course brings the focus on dead dudes. The term 'rapture' redirects the focus to the living. So to 'rightly divide' this passage requires the division in which Paul specifics and not some conjured ideal. Paul then (rightly) divides the spiritual body from the physical body….see vs. 44. We know that the spiritual body is the one that is present with the Lord when the physical earth suit dies…. 2 Cor. 5:8. Also when John was told, "come up here…" immediately he was in the spiritual body…. Rev. 4:1,2 Philippians 3:20,21 is the only passage that directly refers to a "glorified body", and it refers to the body of Christ. this passage shows that when we get to heaven our body is changed to be like Christ. Everyone who has died and gone to heaven has such a body. They have "glorified bodies"and they are spiritual in nature.
Turn your focus on these dead dudes for a moment… The Word of God states that they return with Christ when He comes for the catching away…. 1Thess. 4:14. At this time their physical bodies are resurrected from the grave… and they rise first. Indeed, those who are alive and remain will be caught up together with the dead dudes physical bodies. … 1 Thess. 4:14-17. The rendezvous is in the air/clouds of Earth… not Heaven. Their "glorified bodies' that they have been living with in Heaven all this time undergoes a different change at the resurrection of the dead. They are now getting their physical bodies back raised from the dead…. thus the name of the event, "the resurrection of the dead." Those who are alive and remain (raptured) are changed from mortal to immortal. This is the opposite of Adam who was changed from immortal to mortal… by sin… see Roms. 5. Corruptible is defined as decaying in the grave… see Acts 2:31. Most English versions use the term perishable… which also means that it can rot and decay. Many grab the English term "corruptible" and run away with some spiritualized consideration…. creating their own wild doctrines and imaginations. However, the term has nothing to do with the moral state of a person. Verse 52 specifically (rightly divides) states that the DEAD will be raised incorruptible/imperishable. It's not talking about the living. So when this presenter states," the rapture is being born incorruptible…" @Bible History Science
Indeed you have stated several times that you believe "apostasia' does not mean a departure from the faith like the English word 'apostasy' …which is taken from the Greek word apostasia. You have been confronted on the fact that Paul was informing the Thessalonians on why they could not expect to see the 'gathering together unto Him." until other events happen… 1) the apostasia, and 2)the man of perdition revealed.
If apostasia refers to being gathered together with Him…. then how can that be on of the things that must happen before we are gathered unto Him. You must destroy the entire context of the passage, and ignore what Paul is informing the Thessalonians in order to present your message. Circular reasoning does not present an argument. He is presenting a case of "wrongfully dividing" the Word of Truth.
It's important to note that the spiritual body is not mortal, nor can it rot in the grave. The rightful division shows the passage to be speaking of the physical body only. The physical body is beneficial on a physical world. Those who were living happy joyous lives in Heaven in their glorified bodies are now getting their physical bodies back so that they can rule and reign with Christ for a 1000 years on a physical Earth. Without them they would be disembodies spirits, running around as ghosts, unable to accomplish the task of ruling and reigning with Him. Paul states that these flesh and blood bodies do not go to Heaven… see vs 50. Jesus is not headed to Heaven but to the Mount of Olives with all of His saints… Zech 14:4,5. Jesus modeled this EXACT return in Acts 1;9-14. Jesus comes from Heaven to the sky/clouds, and continues to the Mount of Olives
Aloha from Hawaii, Pastor Jack. Thank you for explaining these things. Q & A’s are fun and very informative. You’d be surprised at how many ppl do NOT know WHAT the Rapture is. Whenever I ask ppl about it, SOME have NEVER heard the word before and MANY have said, “I can’t really explain it but, it has something to do with the end of the world”. Thank you for your videos on UTUBE, I love you so dearly, my brother, see you in the air soon enough.
Awesome Jack. I love learning Gods truth!
We are all so blessed to have a Pastor like you Jack.
Amen Jack, thanks for the detailed study on the Rapture! It's good to have a notebook to show those who want to know. You are in our prayers continually up here in Washington state. Keep up the great work Jack. Blessings in Jesus Name, Maranatha.
Love these short q and a's Pastor Jack!
Jack Hibbs: why do people continue to eat the Passover lamb burnt offering sacrifice when burnt offerings and sacrifices were never commanded by God in the first place?
Jeremiah 7:22
"For I SPAKE NOT unto your fathers, NOR COMMANDED THEM in the day I brought them out of the land of Egypt, CONCERNING BURNT OFFERINGS AND SACRIFICES."

Dr Andy Woods addresses the issue of a lot of the comments below about people being saved during the Tribulation. I have replied this information to some of the personal comments. You can find Dr Woods commentary about this on His YouTube channel Pastors Point of View, episode 72, Endtime Evangelism. Pastor Jack is one of my favourite teachers. His teachings have strengthened by walk and faith and no doubt will continue to do so. I think Dr Woods has the correct answer to evangelism in the end times. May the Lord God Almighty bless you all and keep you strong as we await to go home. In His love and peace.
Pastor seeing you standing in front of that beautiful foundation, brings back so many memories! Great ones! We love you Pastors and Church Family! ✝️❤️ We miss y'all! And we're Praying for you all ?? in Jesus' Holy Name! Amen and Amen
ANOTHER wolf in sheep's clothing.
awwwwww, too short.
Amen!
Pastor Jack – what makes you so sure that those who miss the Rapture, who have heard the Gospel but not committed yet, will be lost? Are you sure you're not taking verse 10 out of context? Isn't the Antichrist revealed at around the 3 1/2 year mark? That would give them that long to accept, surely – before the powerful delusion? Who do you say the multitude that no man can count is? The Tribulation saints. Surely there wouldn't be that many who had never heard the Gospel? Don't you think that there will be possibly millions of instant believers once they realise we're gone? Anyway, just thought I'd ask. God bless you – love your teachings, just a bit of a sticking point for me here. xx
Okay, you got me Pastor Jack. "Know this book better than Xbox." I will study the Bible more than I play my games. God has been saying that to me for a while and I have been justifying my lack of personal study, outside of Bible study, by listening to sermons. Trying to ignore the fact that God has been telling me that is not enough studying.
They didn’t show the list that you spoke about at the end of this video, I was going to take an in phone snapshot of it. Ron Rhodes puts up pages of rapture scriptures versus second coming scriptures, I have photographed those
People need to hear what Pastor Jack said….he said if you know the gospel now and you reject it, according to 2nd Thessalonians you don't have a 2nd chance!!!! You people need to get your ideas straight before you attack!
God bless you pastor Jack
Pastor Jack Hibbs thanks for the twist in your ministry, by having a question and answer session the congregation can ask questions and get direct, immediate feedback on some important things that has for a long time plagued our thoughts. God bless you and your ministry and timely answers, your sister in Christ from Hammond, LA.
Jack, the wrath of God is the final 3.5 years. There is a scripture for a mid trib rapture. The anti christ must be revealed and the third temple built.. Bible support.Jacob Prasch clearly puts it together.
Wow, forgot about the part where if You Knew about the Gospel and chose to not believe it, and you died Or the rapture takes place….there is no 2and chance to be saved!!!
If someone is not included in the Rapture and is therefore lost, then for them there is no reason not to worship the anti-christ since for them the result on the second coming will be the same. What happens to an infant born to parents who rise with Jesus in the rapture?
Okay, Jesus said he would return after the tribulation of those days (Matt. 24). The disciples asked him what would be the sign of his coming and the end of the age. They did not think of two "comings." It was one coming. And he told them various signs, but there is no reason to assume his coming and appearing he talks about in that passage are any different from one another. It's all one "coming" that is after the tribulation and comes after the world has been evangelized, after false prophets and false christs, after the abomination, will be like a thief, and will bring about judgment on the wicked and the unrighteous servants. To separate them would be to take one passage out of context. And I've seen many do just that. So Jesus set the paradigm. Then he said he would raise us up on the last day. You will have to wonder how a pretrib rapture is the last day. Paul says the coming of the Lord is when the dead in Christ are raised (1 Thess. 4). I can't imagine Paul talking about a different "coming" than the one Jesus himself discussed, can you? Paul would have made that difference abundantly clear. I mean, to think Paul would just nonchalantly talk about a different coming than the one in Matt. 24 is pure presumption. Yet that is exactly what the pretribbers do and it is unjustified. Paul says his coming is also like a thief in the night, and is when the wicked are destroyed (1 Thess 5:1-3). Yet are we to believe this coming is different than the one he discussed in ch. 4 (the rapture)? How can we do that? And the reason Paul says we escape this wrath poured out is not because of a different coming, or pretrib rapture. No. The reason Paul gives is because we are awake, sober, and watching. It won't overtake us as a thief because we are still here and aware of the times. The wicked are "asleep" and drunk on life. This echoes what Jesus said in Luke 21, where he said to be careful to not be weighed down with distractions and drunkenness and that day come on you unaware. But be praying to be counted worthy to escape these things (distractions, drunkenness of life, and his surprise coming) and stand before the Son of Man. If we are raptured, why the need to stand? But we stand in the trial with the full armor of God put on (Eph 6). And besides, who is praying to be counted worthy to be raptured? Are you? Do you know anyone? Isn't it a done deal for the church? There is much more, but that is a good start. God bless.
