John 3. 3-8, should cover the negative point he was looking for.

Acts 9.36, let’s us know they were definitely talking about actual water.

2 Kings 5.12-15, tells us it must be done his way and not our own.

The baptism of repentance was taught before Christ died, Baptism wasn’t for repentance until after Christ rose from the grave.

Hebrews 9.14-18, will explain away his confusion, better Study will help with these issues remember your time lines and the scripture never contradicts scripture only your understanding is twisted.

Acts 16.25-34, will help him understand the urgency of baptism as well as, Acts 2.36-42, none of them left to be baptized later. Let’s stop fighting the Word of God and start living in truth, let go of your false doctrines in these man made denominations.

What is the gift of the Holy spirit if the Spirit was on the Jews?????

vincent greer - posted on September 17, 2019 5:01 am

He is killing his own argument, the death burial and resurrection are the gospel, this was preached after Christ died and rose, Mark 16.15-16, you cannot be saved before having your sins removed, baptism in water removes your sins and adds you to the Lord’s Body/church.

Am I the only one that remembers Acts 2:38 was required of the Jews and not of Gentiles. what was required for them to do was not required for us to do. I don’t remember any Gentiles in Acts 2:38.

The old "as I began to speak" argument… I wonder how we're supposed to know exactly how much came out of Peter's mouth? Was it a couple of words? A paragraph? Just a sound? I know! Let's go back to Acts chapter 10! 43“Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”
44While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message." Wait, what words? "…through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.”
hand slaps forehead DUH @ ME! It's right there!

Johns baptism was different than Baptism in Jesus Christ, Matthew 3:11 even contrasts, baptism in John was just for the forgiveness of sins, Baptism in Christ Jesus includes that but it brings with it the GIFT of the Holy Spirit. We see later in the book of Acts that the baptism of John didn’t bring the gift or the helper as Jesus promised, (Acts19:2-6) in Romans 8 we see that if we don’t have the Spirit of Christ we cannot be a child of God, Johns baptism didn’t offer that.

Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Johnny Thompson - posted on October 2, 2019 12:37 am

Baptism is required for salvation Mark 16:16 – The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: 22Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.

I lost respect for Mike Winger – he falls into the trap of Calvinism, which is only 200 years old. The Bible is very clear about Baptism being requireed for salvation. Mark 16:16 , 1 Peter 3:21. John the Baptist baptism was not the same as the Baptism that the Apostle's of Christ performed. Also the John the Baptist's baptism was not about being buried with Christ and risen with Christ or covered by his Blood.

Are water baptism saves believers saying Jesus is dead or he lost some deity?…I don’t understand

It seems pretty simple ..there is a formula for promotion in your company …but the boss can walk in and promote someone as he pleases to any position.
We were given the way to salvation ….we are held to that but our Lord is not held to that..we are !
My question is where did Jesus teach about salvation through grace ? I cant find it said or taught to the deciples by him?

I'm not impressed with Mike's handling of scripture.

I wish Pastor Mike would do a video on the false and non biblical heretical teachings of John Calvin and the errors in interpreting soteriology and the Gospel of Jesus Christ included in Calvinism/TULIP!.

Heretical Doctrines of Demons Concerning Salvation: The Maleficent 7

1-Catholic Church: Faith + Works (loyalty to the Catholic Church and its man made traditions)= Salvation
2-7th Day Adventist: Faith + Works (specially Sabbath observance ) =Salvation
3-Calvinism: Faith + TULIP's doctrinal interpretation of salvation (salvation is only AVAILABLE for a selected group of people and NOT available to whoever which to be part of Jesus Christ flock)= Salvation
4-Jehovah Witnesses: Faith + Works (and loyalty to the Watchtower Org.)= Salvation
5-Christ Church: Faith + Works (specially focused on water baptism as a requirement for salvation)= Salvation
6-Oneness Pentecostals: Faith + Works (same as Christ Church emphasis on water baptism')= Salvation
7-Mormonism: Faith + Works (loyalty to Joseph Smith heretical teachings)= Salvation
