SIR!! At 4:09 How can you lose your reward but you can’t lose your salvation(eternal life)? Isn’t reward, salvation and eternal life all link together? You are confused

Amen Brother Stanley. We are all sinners to a degree, because we can not be perfect in the flesh. I love Romans 4:6-8 He has imputed His perfect righteousness to us, and will no more impute sin to our account. First John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

First John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doeth not commit sin, for His Seed, (the Holy Spirit) remaineth in him, and HE, the Holy Spirit, can not sin because HE is born of God. The Spirit of God that seals us unto the day of redemption can not sin. But we still do. Ephesians1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of our salvation, (First Corinthians 15:1-4) in whom also AFTER ye believed, ye were sealed by that Holy Spirit of promise. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the Spirit of God, in whom ye ARE SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, and we all sin, and we all die, but the GIFT of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eternal life is not a reward for good behavior, but a free gift from God who loved us so much He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus, that WHOSOEVER, BELIEVETH in Him, should not perish, but HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE. The GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE. No sinner can redeem himself. John 3:18 Believers are no longer condemned, but unbelievers are condemned already because they have not believed on the name of the Son of God.

We might lose our life, and our rewards in heaven, but never our salvation which was paid for by Jesus own blood sacrifice for all sin forever. I love this book. The KJV. It is the word of God.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, HATH EVERLASTING LIFE. If I have it now, then I have it forever. First John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God, that ye may KNOW YE HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.

Heretic. The cost is your salvation. The punishment eternal hell.

Hear me out, everyone. I have a question. In regards to people who may be the elites of this world. If these elites murder, steal, rape, and cause mass wars…do they even get to go to heaven IF they claimed to have been saved. There have been throughout history and even people today who have done SERIOUS damage and horrible pain unto others. What of those child murderers who tortured them? What of horrible people that claimed they once called Jesus to be their God? I doubt they can go to heaven. What if they murder people for 40 years after getting saved through their years and die an angery killer? I am sorry for this hard question, but there are people who live today who have thousands of gallons of blood on their hands. What if they try to trick God's system and recognize Jesus as God but then go hurt people for the rest of their lives? Thank you if you respond.

Im confused on what you mean by lose your reward does that mean if I'm saved and I sin and I repent from them will I get to heaven only to be cast into the fires of hell.

Nate Herbold - posted on September 15, 2019 4:53 am

This is deception. Not by works does not mean you can live in sin and be saved. It simply means works on there own are just works. Sinners can do works. It's where your heart is. God works with us but once saved always saved is a lie.

I had realize that God through the Holy Spirit was convicting me was drawing me and that is the only way we can be saved in John chapter 6 verse 44 explained that Jesus said no man can come to me except for the father who had sent me draw him and I will raise him up at the last day, He was convicting my heart and I knew I hear his voice saying to me come to me in live to me you hear it within yourself That is the Lord drawing you When you feel that conviction and you know that it's some speaking to you as well you will know

Dwayne Earls - posted on September 16, 2019 3:27 am

You are right in what you said because Jesus paid it all We're not under the law but under grace, But in John chapter 6:44 If you break down each paragraph It will explain, I know if the son of man be lifted out that he will draw all men to himself but he still what convict that sinner's heart

Judith Hansen - posted on September 16, 2019 5:44 am

i don't believe save always save. the bible said who practice sin never had been born again christian.

Judith Hansen - posted on September 16, 2019 5:50 am

The bible said we need to have fruits of repent. the bible said when we come to Christ we are a new creature. we are not the same any more. the bible said too the men who go back to the world is like a dog who ate his own vomit.

Apart from losing our reward in heaven, we also have to bear the terrible consecuences of our sins here in earth, so, yes , it is a foolish desition not to ask for God's forgivenes and try to do better. I thank Jesus for His gift of salvation

Joy TChannel - posted on September 22, 2019 1:58 am

It is misquoted Dr Stanley. The beginning of the verse says my sheep follows me. My sheep hears my voice and I give them eternal life. It is conditional. The sheep has received eternal life to follow him and obey his word. Not to go around willfully sining. The emphasis is ‘Follow me’. But if you don’t follow him , the terms of the scripture is broken

Alex Bailey - posted on September 22, 2019 11:56 am

He didn't even deal with what it is to be a new creature. If you are still living like your lost… how are you a new creature. It's not that we lose our salvation, its if a person lives in habitual sin they have they ever been born again. The answer is no.

If you live in a continuous state of carnality, that's the best proof you're not saved. Period.
If you are saved, you won't live in sin, but you will sin from time to time. Biblie doesn't teach perfection here on earth.
The greatest question is: do you desire to sin? If you do, you're still lost.
Because when God borns you again, He kills the old man who wanted to sin. So no more desire to sin.

Acts 16:31 31And they said, Believe on the LORD Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Once you belive you're saved

John 3:15

“That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.”

Once you're saved you should not perish.

Ephesians 4:30“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed UNTO the day of redemption.”

Once you're saved you're sealed unto the day of redemtion

Matthew 24:13

“But he that shall "endure unto the end", the same shall be saved.”

You also have to endure to the end to be saved.

1 Corinthians 3:17 17If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

We don't become the temple of God until after we're saved.

Romans 11

19You will say then, “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.”

20Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear.

21For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

1 Corinthians 9:27 27But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Luke12:42And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?

43Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

44Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.

45But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

So the conclusion of the matter is you are saved once you believe and if you don't endure to the end you can lose your salvation. Just like God saved Lots wife then gave her specific instruction as to not turn around even though God saved her he soon afterwards destroyed her for disobedience. The same with the Israelites He saved them they saw and witnessed His power but those who were disobedient He destroyed them after He saved them before they made it to the promise land. We are saved once we believe but if we don't endure to the end in obedience we get disqualified and won't make it to the promise land.

Hebrews 10: 26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Notice it says "he WAS sanctified" Shows this is talking about someone who was saved.

You cannot be saved by doing good works but if you don't live in OBEDIENCE to the word of God after you invite Christ into your heart you CAN lose your salvation completely.

I can't subscribe to the 'once saved always saved' doctrine.

Incognitive Distortion - posted on September 25, 2019 4:15 pm

If you're a Christian, you begin living in constant sin without caring about what you're doing wrong, but cherishing it so much that the sin is put 1st in your life, and you die in that sin, you won't make it into Gods kingdom.

This man is lying to you.

"Can a Saved Person Live a Life of Sin and Remain Saved?"

"If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth" (1 John 1:6)

"Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him." (1 John 3:6)

"Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous." (1John 3:7)

"He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." (1 John 3:8)

"Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." (1 John 3:9)

That's great to hear I think once you're saved you can join Muslim and persecute Christians and still go to heaven as long as you believe in Christ because it's a free gift and not by work.

There are scripture passages that can be used to support both sides of this argument. I’m frustrated that the answer is not crystal clear. This is too important of a topic to be up for debate.
