another one that can't answer a simple question either yes or no! or give what makes you cheerful.  I believe every true christian has no problem giving to the needed. feeding the hungry. going beyond what be needed. people are worried about the miss use of their giving !!! into the hands of men. they should be!

Do Jehovah’s Witnesses Practice Tithing?

No, Jehovah’s Witnesses do not practice tithing; our work is financed by anonymous voluntary donations. What is a tithe, and why don’t Jehovah’s Witnesses practice tithing?

The commandment to tithe, or contribute a tenth of one’s belongings, was part of the Law given to the ancient nation of Israel. However, the Bible makes it clear that this Law—including the “commandment to collect tithes”—does not apply to Christians.—Hebrews 7:5, 18; Colossians 2:13, 14.

Rather than giving required tithes and offerings, Jehovah’s Witnesses imitate the early Christians and support their ministry in two ways: by performing their personal ministerial work without pay and by making voluntary donations.

We thus follow the Bible’s direction to Christians: “Let each one do just as he has resolved in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”—2 Corinthians 9:7.

1. While "tithe" means a tenth, the HOLY tithe, as the word is used by Moses, Nehemiah, Malachi and Jesus, was always only FOOD from inside God's HOLY land. While money was common even in Genesis, money was never included in any of 16 texts which describe the tithe.
2. Giving is an eternal moral principle written in the hearts and conscience of every person; tithing 10 per cent is not. Jesus did not tithe and neither did non-food producers in Israel. Nobody outside Israel qualified as a tither.

He sure made me feel good even though he didn't answer the question

I'm not sure what is so hard about tithing? It's part of the law- Abraham and Jacob didn't qualify- and usually the tithe was part of theocracy. We are in a different time and different needs. Nowadays we are called to give with a cheerful heart.
