Mike Winger Claims That Atheists Have Messed Up Hearts

Today we are evaluating a current Mike Winger preaching where he declares that atheists have actually screwed up hearts and also will not rely onChristianity He claims that atheists, agnostics, and also skeptics, as a whole, do not intend to rely on the reality ofChristianity So several concerns that they ask are mosting likely to be destructive efforts to refuteChristianity He frameworks this whole preaching on the concept that it threatens to attempt and also refute Christianity since he understands that you can discover debates that refuteChristianity He’s certain to stress he’s not speaking about individuals asking concerns and also right away thinking the response. He’s just speaking about individuals believing seriously concerning his faith. Original Video: Tweet this video clip: Subscribe to this network: Join the Skeptic Mafia: http://JoinSkepticMafia com. Hey, heathens!

Did y'all enjoy this video? What do you think of Mike's argument that atheists suffer from an emotional problem? Do you think these are tactics used to prevent critical thought in his congregation?

If you missed the last video on the evidence for a Historical Jesus, you can catch up here:

The odds of Christ existing are 1/12000…Christ was so divine,he couldn't write his own Story ha
Yes Winger, thinks Christ actually spoke those words..a most unrealistic Personality!
We even have Gospels, showing a young Jesus killing and resurrecting Babies ha

I'm an atheist and I've worked in non-invasive cardiology for the last 24 years. The vast majority of the patients I see are Christians and their hearts are way more messed up than mine is.

Let's just say that Mike just keeps on surprising me with new levels of dishonesty. This is the first time I have seen him actively discouraging critical thought and encouraging confirmation bias and teaching that it's a reliable way to find out what's true. He couldn't be correct even if a god came down and reshaped the universe to match Mike's "interpretations". Regardless of the intentions of the questions, if your beliefs don't hold up under scrutiny, then it's most probably wrong. Correct beliefs hold up under all scrutiny. Take gravity for instance. No matter how flat you make the Earth and make up other explanations for the direction things fall towards in a vacuum, gravity is still a predictable thing and will hold up under scrutiny, as will the theory of general relativity for at least the parts that have been tested.
Doubt and investigation and falsification should be encouraged, yet the bible and Mike repeatedly advice against it. That's harmful.

I want it noted that I did my best to start the comment with saying something positive! I am genuinely surprised. Mike is doing an amazing job if increasing his dishonesty is indeed his goal, which it has seemed to have been for years.

Everything Mike says can be applied back to him. Every reason Mike gives for atheists rejecting Christianity can be used to explain why Christians reject reality or skeptical criticism. As a matter of fact, I think that a Roman Catholic could say that their is plenty of evidence for RC but Mike has a hard heart and refuses to see the evidence for RC. Anyone can use these reasons to try and explain why the person with a different view than yours rejects your view, This is childish stuff.

I don't understand why there needs to be faith. God had no problems talking to Adam and Eve, Abraham, Moses, etc… Why do we need to have faith when he supposedly can and has appeared to other people in the past?

I am an atheist and I would love for Christianity to be true. I was a Christian for more than 30 years and it was very difficult for me to admit to myself it was not true. I gave up the hope of seeing my mother and grandmother again, have no loving god looking out for me, and no eternal life when this life is over. reality is reality and I would rather believe and act on what is real than believe a comforting lie.

I wish I was a monster and intellectually dishonest enough to be a prosperity preacher or some sort of minister it seems like an easy job I mean you essentially answer every single problem with a platitude. I could do that shit in my sleep

Marko Zupanc - posted on March 8, 2020 11:30 am

Talk about building up immunity to the facts … when his parents and priests literaly planted such very immunity to the facts into his craddle … it's literaly built-in in his amigdale … if Mike was born in a slightly different home with a slightly different upbringing, there would be no Jesus or god in this reality that could make him see the world and his beliefs the way he sees them now.

Marko Zupanc - posted on March 8, 2020 11:34 am

True. Something is wrong. Mike's got all the evidence he needs (from the whole scientific world) and he still needs more evidence, while we literally don't have ANYTHING to hold their claims accountable, but we just don't care anymore, because we learn from experiences…that no such evidence from religious claims will probably ever be produced.

Dustin Osborn - posted on March 8, 2020 4:37 pm

God is real because God says he’s real in a book written by people who believe he is real. Also WHAT “EVIDENCE”?

Sebastian E'Silva - posted on March 9, 2020 4:19 am

So basically he wants us to lower our standards of evidence…but ONLY to Christianity. I'll bet he wants us to stay just as sceptical to all his rival faiths

Believe only the answers that supports my view and ignore any answers that don't comport to my view. In other words, believe my interpretation of the Bible without question.

Jonathan Norburg - posted on March 9, 2020 3:59 pm

Before commenting on the truth of the Bible, you must believe that the Bible is true. It's all circular and worthless.

Beavis & Butt-Head were right, Winger Sucks! How could anyone sit and listen to him drone on for an hour? I’m 3:56 minutes into this video and I’m already like “Quit telling us us what we’re going to discuss and just tell it already!” Is this the best theists have, Kent Hovind and Mike (lame as his last name) Winger?

Mike’s sermon reminds me that I too believed that bad evidence at one time, that he claims is good evidence. So I finally came to the point of studying and researching the true “Truth” of Christianity, which IS magic and fairly tales and NOT actually historical evidence. But some how I have an issue in my heart because I could no longer believe in the LACK of historical evidence for the resurrection or any miracle Jesus supposedly did over 2000 years ago. Hmmmm 🤔 nope I don’t think I have the issue here Mike, I’m sure it is with the LACK of realistic or material evidence that cannot support your religion. But the problem is the only evidence that Christianity actually has is hearsay, and that my friends is not evidence at all.

Thanks GE! Great breakdown of that sad sermon.
