We'll be human-zombie with vaccine
After the disasters with with swine flu and the smaller disaster with the polio campaign, there is plenty of latent scepticism of vaccines. Coupled with the now-obvious fatality rate of covid, the arrival of the vaccine will bring a lot of this latent scepticism into the spotlight. If this goes well, some long-needed transparency and truth about v's comes out of that (higher chance for that under the orange man). If it goes badly, the trends of debate-suppression and technocratic autocracy will accelerate.

I'M DISAPPOINTED IN THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION.
A number of blue states, say that when the vaccines are released, they will go to court to mandate their own vetting for safety and effectiveness. (With a court decreeing state authority over the vaccine, does that mean the state can now MANDATE its use?) This effectively prolongs local government lockdowns, and potentially denies proactive treatment for the "deadly virus". Any price, for political power. These people need be removed from government (no, society), or seseed to their own kingdoms.
