The Christian Life Pt. 1 | A Future of Hope | 1 Peter 1:17-21
Pastor Jack explains the high call for godly living in light of the price that was paid for our redemption. The precious blood of Jesus did not save us so that we could then live as if we were hopeless. Peter reminded readers that those who believe in God are not disappointed because their faith and hope has been substantiated by Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.

I thank God for leading me here. I have a question I've asked some already and know many are of different opinion. It's about water baptism and backsliding or being out of fellowship with The Lord . I turned away from the Lord when my wife divorced me for a false brother (Not at all trying to justify myself) . I will spare you the details but eventually I was persuaded God hated me . I can see now that was not the case at all . But I brought much chastisement upon myself . Grieved His Holy Spirit to the point I feel except, for His longsuffering and Mercy,Love and Grace that is far above my understanding , that I should have been taken out of the way and cast into hell. But… Finally through these aforementioned things His Patience , Mercy , Grace and Chastisement out of Love ..He has given me much more space to repent than I can comprehend and thankfully He has given me repentance . To get to the point (sorry it took so long) I would like to hear from whoever feels led to answer : Should I be Baptized in water again ? I have been Baptized before at the first of course , but , I went to my home Church( It is an Independent Baptist Church made up of some different denominational beliefs , a mixture of people who can worship together in Spirit and Truth in spite of not agreeing on every detail )) and stood up and made a public confession to them and apologized to them also. I've already made this too long ,but, If I don't be Baptized again it would be a stumbling block for some (To judge me) but I don't want to offend God . There is NO WORK I can do of myself to earn salvation . I ran back and forth for 18 years and because I could feel His Spirit and remember the scriptures I would think everything was ok. But I never told anyone or fellowshipped and soon I was even worse . Then there came a day when I called ,He wasn't there and I struggled with Scripture and I was terrified to say the least . But now he has restored my soul and revived me . Some even say it is impossible for me to be saved . I remember answering similar questions when He had made me strong in the Faith …But now I am weak but getting stronger . I am praying for more faith and strength and about being Baptized again . I ask anyone who sees this to PLEASE PRAY FOR AND WITH ME on these matters and for my family and all the Brethren . And whoever will , please give me your thoughts on these matters . Sorry this is so long. God Bless and Keep you . Thank You !
