As all eyes were on the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which signaled a major shift in the balance of world power away from the U.S. and towards China and Russia, the focus was taken off another chaotic situation—the southern U.S. border. However, these two situations both have the same end goal, to destroy America’s prestige in the world. The Afghanistan debacle was designed to weaken America internationally and the border crisis is designed to weaken America nationally.
