Wonderful teaching Pastor Jack! Thank you!
I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. Today (September 4), this was the basis for our Sunday School Lesson for the Day. It was entitled "A World at Peace." The hymn, "O Holy Spirit, Enter In," written by Michael Schirmer (1606-1673) and translated by Catherine Winkworth (1827-1878), is a good hymn to compliment this Scripture, regardless of denomination. This passage can also be read during the Advent Season, which precedes Christmas, which is not too far off.
This is my first time hearing him preach, this is great!
Thank you again for a very in depth and inspiring Bible Study.
His reference to Romans 12:4 is incorrect, the passage he is reciting is Romans 15:4. Small error but I thought I'd clarify for anyone confused.
It makes me just cry because i wish people would just repent. That's kinda amazing because I just came from a service where the prophet talked about Melchizedek/Abraham and Gods plan is from everlasting and will prevail…and also I just talked about "poking God in the eye" TODAY .and Pastor Hibbs uses that exact phrase. The service didn't reference Isaiah 10/11 but God brought me to study it after service, then brought me to this video that is about the same subjects as the service before. God amazes me
Thank you Pastor Jack GOD BLESS
