What Does It Say? (How To Study The Bible: Episode 6)
#HowtoStudytheBible
Pastor Jack recommends reading completely through the book of the Bible you are studying and then slowly reading through the book again in small parts. Take your time studying the Word of God, allow for the Holy Spirit to work through you as you ask the question, “What is the author saying?”

Thank you pastor Jack. These short videos are so helpful. God bless you.
A good bible dictionary is also helpful for studying
That's really cool the way you described study as prayer. I'm going to do the same to get closer to & understand the Word more. Thank you Pastor Jack for your insight through the Holy Spirit! God bless!
Any study bibles you can recommend?
I love your bible studies, Pastor Jack. Reminds me of a Charismatic Pentecostal pastor I once had. He was really anointed.
Today I reflected on the parable of the soils…I realized sometimes my brain feels like a rubber ball and when I read, the words just bounce off…today I made a point before opening my bible to read to ask for my brain to be good soil to absorb the words I was reading…and what a difference I received with focus!!! Keeping in mind that parable I was spirit led to keep myself in check when my brain became a wondering rubber ball…to bring it back out of the thorns or Stoney gravel and plant the words in rich soil all praise to God!
Thompson Chain Reference KJV Bible is excellent for study.
God gave me a good study bible, very cheap, in a second hand store. Awsome. . .
Pastor Jack, I have asked a few times on your media which study bible should be used and what version to buy. There are so many out there it's confusing almost overwhelming. I want to really dig in but need guidance where to begin. I cannot buy 12 different books to trying to find the best one. Please help me with this. God Bless!

Your such a good teacher. Thank you?
That's what happened to me, the bible became pictures like it is alive. And as I read I could see it in my mind. How loving is Our beloved Father to give us so much even when we don't deserve such love. HalleluYAH Shalom
Do you address what version you use and the reasons why? I currently use ESV. Is this version okay?
