I was raised a methodist, I can't say I'm proud of that anymore. I'm looking for a conservative church in a very liberal college town. I was part of the methodist church in Columbia Mo for 20 plus years. I can't in good faith be part of a "woke" church. I'm new to hunting for a church. It's a lot easier to stay home and watch Jack Hibbs and several other Calvary chapel preachers that preach the entire bible, not just the nice pretty parts.

I love you, Pastor Jack, and love your messages, but the quote from St. Francis is not biblical. You will eventually get to Romans 10:17, and it says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Christ. Yes, we are to show people Christ by our lives, but showing is not telling. It is impossible to share the Gospel without words. The whole social gospel movement is predicated on doing and not telling. Please reconsider the quote. Maranatha.

For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12) Dear children of the kingdom, you are a SPIRITUAL prism holding the DNA of a child of God in faith, hope and love. Through the trials of life, this polyhedron causes refraction of the pure light of Jesus as it shines through you forming a beautiful halo (bow) that mankind and Father God always watches. When thinking of rainbows the art renderings of Saint Stephen, first known Christian martyr, come to mind showing a halo surrounding his head. Stephen's name in Greek means "wreath, crown" and by extension "reward, honor, renown, fame". [Wikipedia] According to the Acts of the Apostles Stephen, a deacon in the early Church at Jerusalem, angered ruling members of the synagogue by the truth of his teachings concerning Jesus. Because of his sermon denouncing Jewish authorities, Stephen was tried by the Sanhedrin then stoned to death. Saul of Tarsus, later known as Paul, a Pharisee and Roman citizen who would later become a Christian apostle, participated in Stephen's martyrdom. (Acts 22) Stephen not disquieted by this horrible ordeal asked God to forgive his murderers, and his face is said to have appeared like that of an angel. (Acts 6:15) It is written, "And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:" (Revelation 10) I read my Bible and pray to Father God daily always taking notes of His inspiration.

In 1994, when I had come to the end of my road, God sent a saint (messenger) with the face of an angel. So, I called out asking Jesus to come into my heart and He breathed a new Spirit into my soul. If we allow the Lord to be our Ark, seeking His face through the valleys, showing the joy we have In Christ Jesus when the storms of life seem to overwhelm us, and honestly saying, "it is well with my soul," then we will shine. Through these victories, the world's lost will be held in awe by the glory of Jesus that shines through the prism of His grace in our knowledge through FAITH OF God's Word, our understanding THROUGH HOPE in His Spirit revealing His wisdom in LOVE TO Father's glory, which always points toward salvation in Jesus Christ. "For OF him, and THROUGH him, and TO him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." (Romans 11:36) Through daily prayer and Bible readings God answers questions about myself and this world. God has taught me that the source of rainbows is the true light that shines from Jesus Christ, and, if we allow, that light can shine through each of us revealing a new and angelic creature of everlasting love. In the New Testament, the Gospel of John is a good place to find the source of Light in faith, hope and love "And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." (1Corinthians 13:13)

I have always loved the statements from God about stones. The "stones will cry out" & that we will be given a "white stone WITH A NEW NAME WRITTEN UPON IT that only Jesus knows" are my favorite stone references.
It wasn't in Psalm 46.
The stones will speak is in Luke 19:40 & Hab 2:11. The white stone reference is in Rev 2:17.

Thank you for bringing the WORD to all who listen Jack, to open our own Bibles and see, truly learn to see our Gods love and promise to us. I pray so many will learn the difference in knowing the name Jesus, to KNOWING Jesus, a relationship, to thirst, to know more, to please Him and to glorify Him in our lives for all to see and desire THAT life also for themselves.
I wish someone could hear me. I am a blood bought faithful member of God's family. But I am so very sad right now 50 years of abuse … Verbal, sexual, physical and more I live alone for over 9 years now I am attacked daily and can't get the church to respond then when the people did I was thrown aside. Ready to go home with my first Love and my youngest son.
