Script:
They are turning social networks versus us. Disguising it as news.
I’m not speaking about Russia. The media business I’m discussing runs right here, in the USA.
It produces videos, report, and documentaries. It has 10s of countless social networks fans. Their material is seen and shared by numerous young people across the western world.
CNN? Incorrect.
Fox News? Incorrect once again.
The response is … AJ+.
If you’ve hung around on socials media, you’ve seen their things, I assure you. This is isn’t the work of a scrappy start-up in Silicon Valley. AJ+ is bankrolled by the government of Qatar.
Never become conscious of Qatar? Many individuals have not.
It’s a little Persian Gulf state with good deals of oil money; billions of dollars they’re not scared to buy causes they believe in– causes like the worry group Hamas, which runs the Gaza Strip.
Without billions from Qatar and its ally, Iran, Hamas would blow away in the next desert sandstorm. Hamas is simply part of Qatar’s terror portfolio. The Qatar federal government bankrolls the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda in Yemen and Syria, extreme extremists in Libya, and Hezbollah in Lebanon– to put it just, a rogues gallery of homicidal Islamist fear groups.
Qatar’s propaganda arm is the Arab news service Al Jazeera– which it owns lock, stock and America-hating, Israel-hating, barrels. Al Jazeera made a splashy attempt to get into the United States media market in 2013. They bought a cable tv franchise for $400 million dollars from previous Vice President Al Gore. They registered some substantial American TV journalists and opened shop in New York and Washington. The effort stopped working. Americans simply might not comfortable as much as the concept that a news network that they had actually appropriately associated with Osama bin Laden might be trusted.
But Al Jazeera didn’t disappear. They simply re-branded into the much better sounding “AJPlus” and they concentrated their efforts on the web and a market that didn’t have a bin Laden fixation– or much connection to 9/11 at all: youths. And they’ve been incredibly effective.
Their productions are well-produced, slick and left. In truth, they are so left that they make videos railing versus leftist white females for being insufficiently understanding to leftist women of color, particularly girls of color who are transgendered or gay.
It’s difficult to overlook the paradox that a media operation completely funded by a nation that oppresses females and gays makes this type of product for an American audience.
