  14. I wonder: in Christianity, do people have autonomy as moral objects, can they claim any pesha against those who betrayed them, or does God's authority override all of that? I've hear that in Islam, it is said that even while God (they call him Allah, a modification of "Elohim" I believe), as one invincible and impossible to hurt, could forgive trespasses of humans against Him, he can not and will not forgive trespasses against other humans – only those hurt and betrayed are arbiters of whether the offender shall be forgiven. So, the God in this picture does not take away the ability and responsibility of forgiving from humans. Is it not so in Christianity? Can a Christian God, like an earthly king, forgive the crime of someone close to Him, overriding any real justice and the right to forgive – or forgive NOT – of those who are, in reality, hurt?

Great job (as always) filling out Biblical language that has lost traction in the secular West and making Jesus’ solution seem amazing. @ 5:04 you show God’s vision of human beings becoming like Jesus. But, you don’t even hint at how that happens. The NT writers are clear that our own desire factory, “flesh” has to be put to death. See Col. 3:1-12, Eph. 4-5, etc. Jesus tells us to take up a Cross (death to our future, our way, and our privilege) to follow him.
    We have 150 million people in the US who call themselves Christians and our divorce and child abuse rates (major transgression) are no different than the wider culture. So, how does Jesus make a difference? Most of us in the 150 million are not in vulnerable community groups with the aim of healing and training in grace to become like Jesus. Most of us do not even give 2% of our income away to charity. Most do not attend church weekly or serve. Most have more training from news media and entertainment than from deep 📖 study.
    Something is really wrong in America in our Christianity. We have a 🔥 insurance Gospel about the afterlife, not a “become Jesus’ apprentice in radical love and obedience” Gospel and we have exported those errors to the whole 🌍. This is why the killers in Rwanda were Christians. Christians killing Christians with machetes in the same congregations.

  28. Before you can teach Hebrew and Greek language by using the words you need to use English,
    so people know what you're talking about, because when you just start out with those words 90% of the people that are unsaved or have just come in the church are going to get more confused than anything.

    Love the videos, but especially with the youth in Asia, sometimes the animations can get awkward with the Adam and Eve stuff. Maybe you could survey large audiences to see how many people feel the same way.

    With a background in design at a state university, nudity was very present in my education, but years later, I feel like a lot of that stuff really just ends up sexualizing students and the public for no real apparent reason:

    I’d appreciate it if Christian illustrators considered ‘How much do we have to show, and how else could we show these things?’

    Really though, thank you for your hard work on these videos that are otherwise very beautiful.
