  1. Hi Dr. Mark, my Question is What EXACTLY is the Abomination of the Desolation? ''The'' THING spoken of by Daniel the Prophet ''STANDING'' in the Holy Place that the Reader ''let him understand'' (Greek: νοείτω — NOEITO is V-PMA-3S or a Verb, Present, IMPERATIVE, Active-Third person singular) a Command Mood in Greek ''Let him Understand! or ''He MUST Understand!''according to Jesus' Command.
    Is the Abomination of Desolation a ''HE'', Someone, a Person, like the Man of Sin, the Antichrist ''SITTING'' (Greek: Kathisai=to Sit) in the Temple displaying himself as God or a god (2 Thess 2:3-4 ) as most Bible Readers understand this passage and assert that this is what it means? According to many Christian Eschatologists whether ''Pre-Mid-Post-Partial & Prewrath'' Rapturists , ''The Great Tribulation'' must start'' in the midst (KJV) or middle (NKJV) of the Week'' (Daniel 9:27) when those who who are in Jerusalem and Judea should see it HAVING STOOD or ERECTED must flee from Judea IMMEDIATELY TO THE MOUNTAINS…to save their lives MINUS their precious or even basic belongings like clothing and not turn back from the countryside into the City of Jerusalem. (Matthew 24:21)
    Or Is the ''Abomination of the Desolation'' an ''IT'' Something, a ''THING STANDING'' in the Holy Place (Greek: ''Topo=Place'' & ''Hagio=Holy'') where ''IT'' and not ''HE''? ought or should not'' STAND in Mark 13:14)…that we MUST UNDERSTAND according to the Lord's Command? or (''Reader, pay attention!'' (New Living Translation) ''Everyone who reads this MUST try to understand! (Contemporary English Translation).
    So this is a Very Vital Question concerning Life or Death for those living in Jerusalem, Judea or Israel to know EXACTLY WHO or WHAT the Abomination of Desolation is that the Lord warned the Bible Readers of the Prophetic Book of Daniel spoke about and take notice …so that they can escape like Noah or Lot (Read Luke 17:26-37) and NOT to TURN BACK ''IN THAT DAY'' ''LIKE LOT'S WIFE'' for “IN THAT DAY, HE WHO IS ON THE HOUSETOP, AND HIS GOODS ARE IN THE HOUSE, LET HIM NOT COME DOWN TO TAKE THEM AWAY. AND LIKEWISE THE ONE WHO ARE IN THE FIELD, LET HIM NOT TURN BACK. Remember Lot’s wife. Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. Two women will be grinding together: the one will be taken and the other left. Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.”
    Compare this ''FLEE & NO TURNING BACK''' passage with the other parallel passages in Matthew 24:15-18 below:~
    “Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. LET HIM WHO IS ON THE HOUSETOP NOT GO DOWN TO TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF HIS HOUSE. AND LET HIM WHO IS IN THE FIELD NOY GO BACK TO GET HIS CLOTHES.
    & in Mark 13:14-16 here;~
    “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not” (let the reader understand), “then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. LET HIM WHO IS ON THE HOUSETOP NOT GO DOWN INTO THE HOUSE, NOR ENTER TO TAKE ANYTHING OUT OF HIS HOUSE. AND LET HIM WHO IS IN THE FIELD NOT GO BACK TO GET HIS CLOTHES.

  5. I hope you read these, Pastor, because I don’t use Facebook! My question is : Do you believe there is a ‘gap’ between Genesis 1:1&2? I’ve listened to others like Gary Stearman who hold to this. If we are to take the Bible, for the most part, literally, how can there be a gap? Isn’t it just as likely God created earth in 6 actual days?
    Then, using your statement that how we interpret scripture from the beginning, is how we tend to continue, wouldn’t that make how others who hold to this gap theory suspect in their other interpretations? This is all very confusing to me. Why can we just not use Sola Scriptura and be satisfied?
