In the Bible, the word “witness” is used to describe both a person and an action—someone who sees something and then talks about what they’ve seen. Similar to today, this word is used in both legal settings and to describe an experience with God. But what’s most interesting about the word witness is how it illuminates the story of Scripture, especially the role of the people of God. In this video, we explore how this word contributes to the overarching story of the Bible.

  1. Dear ones, I love and support BIbleProject, but as a Hebrew-speaker I cringed at the pronunciation of עד. It's not Ud, like the middle eastern lute 'oud.' It's pronounced like the English man's name Ed, with a short e. When you're focusing on a specific word, it would be nice to pronounce it correctly. Please contact me or any Hebrew-speaker who's handy. The vowel marks are quite clear in the BDB Hebrew-English Lexicon. Next time: Ed

  26. Yes we are to share God with all , and some will fall on thorny ground and some will fall on Rocky ground and some will fall on good ground and we have done our part to share god with people but ultimately people have to decide if they want God as their lord and savior .

Statements were made about Not Giving sense to animals when you say that I hope you're not speaking of a human and corn the human an animal because if so then that's breaking the laws in Ministry as Christ said love one another before I give my opinion on things I look at the hall ball game instead of looking at the ballgame for a short while everything comes out in the wash as of right now the wash is not done it's easier to make sense when you wait until everything is finished and then give your opinion sir. . . 😂
