Remember this quote from George Orwell’s “1984”? “Who controls the past controls the future. Who controls the present controls the past.” The Left is trying to erase the truth of our past to control our lives NOW. For example, did you know there was also a white, European slave trade? That Thomas Jefferson intended to get rid of slavery during America’s founding? That only two colonies voted against including the abolition of slavery in the Declaration of Independence? Glenn sets the record straight on some of the history forgotten by “The 1619 Project” — a “project” that evolved from “journalism” by Nikole Hannah-Jones of the New York Times into curriculum for school districts in all fifty states and into a documentary series airing on Hulu. “The 1619 Project’s” premise is that America was founded and built on slavery alone and continues to suffer because of this ultra-racist foundation. It dovetails perfectly with the critical race theory blanketing America’s education system, for which Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is being raked over the coals this week after blocking a high school Advanced Placement course on African-American studies. “The 1619 Project” is a political agenda dressed up as history and gets so many historical facts absolutely WRONG. Glenn takes you into the American Journey Experience vault to reveal artifacts from one of the largest private collections of pilgrim and Jamestown history. He’s joined by Elijah O’Neal, the head of the education department at the American Journey Experience, who brings the evidence to debunk the LIES about America being pumped out in the news, in our classrooms, and now in our living rooms.

  7. Anyone who actually cares enough to know the truth about something as important as slavery would at least take the time to make sure they study the facts and historical evidence. Yet, it appears that the people pushing all the false propaganda about slavery being just a black issue clearly don't give a damn about slavery at all. They are brainwashing people into victimhood and oppression and don't want them knowing the truth because then they won't be able to control how they think. When they can't control how people think then they have a hard time getting people to fight amongst themselves.

  9. America was built on Racism during times of antiquity, and also, in the Bible, they never mention race they mention Nations and Tribes. It's White Europeans who came up with race, one drop rule, and even skull measuring.

    It's people like you who turn young generations away from God. You people are more hell bound than most pagans and atheists if I ever have kids I will teach them the truth!

  13. This country was "built" in the last 100 years because of the industrial revolution. It was founded in 1776 and a lot of blood was shed to correct a lot of imported ideas; like slavery. 95% of slaves from Africa were purchased "in captivity"; meaning they were conquered by another tribe and had already been enslaved. Stupid people believe things like the 1619 project.

  14. Thomas Jefferson certainly DID mean that ALL humans were created equal. But the Declaration of Independence was signed with the understanding that many of the signers did NOT interpret it that way. So the Declaration of Independence does NOT actually read that all humans were created equal. Those are Jefferson's and a few others' beliefs.

  15. The origins of slavery so-called in the US was indentured servitude of white Europeans, then black Africans. At first it had a timeline. I have read where some whites were indentured for life, but I'm not sure if that was the case. Sometime in the 1660s blacks were indentured for life. The word slave and servant were interchangeable in this context, even if it wasn't for life. I got this information from a study conducted and published by a professor. If I can find the book I will share title and author.

  16. So the 1619 Project is just about the black community getting money from the government? Ok. I mean, if money wasn't involved it may LOOK at little better. But from this viewpoint it just looks like a scam. A push for more power in society. Maybe even a touch of revenge.
