The Christian is a Discriminator? — To the Point LIVE with Jon Noyes
Louise Melling, the Deputy Legal Director of the ACLU, wrote an opinion article in the Washington Post, arguing that religion has become an excuse to discriminate against marginalized people groups, specifically the LGBTQ+ crowd. Melling goes on to equate the traditional Christian understanding of sexual ethics with the racial discrimination of the Jim Crow South. Is this accurate? Is support of traditional marriage and normative sexual ethics a form of discrimination on par with racism? These are the issues we’ll be exploring on this episode of To the Point.
To the Point is STR’s live video series, which explores culturally relevant issues from a distinctly Christian worldview. The goal is to offer clarity on these topics and to equip Christians to be confidence enough to discuss them. Join us on the second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 12pm PST, and don’t forget to bring your questions for Jon to answer!

The ACLU used to be a group for everyone's civil liberties not just lefties.
I honestly don't care if people serve me or not as much as I don't want government to say someone can't deny me service for any reason.
I actually liked this topic have tenants who are gays brings this all the time when I share the word ,that the law of the country recognise LGBT community and I should as well
I came across people that discriminated against me:
1) because I'm part Native American
2) because I'm a Christian
3) because I'm conservative
&
4) because I'm a skater
My point being
Folk are going to discriminate against you until the day you die ain't nothing you can do just let people discriminate against you as long as they're not putting their hands on you let them say whatever they want
They have freedom of speech
But not freedom of touch
God bless 😇🙏✝️🛐🙏🇮🇱🕊️🕊️🕊️🕊️✝️🙏😇✝️✝️✝️
I may not like what God asks me to do
But I always do what God tells me to do
😇 God bless 😇👏✝️✝️✝️🛐🙏🙏🇮🇱🕊️🕊️🕊️😇🙏✝️
It's not easy to do it God's way
But it is important to do it God's way
😇 God bless 😇👏✝️🙏😇✝️✝️🇮🇱🛐✝️✝️
Hi Jon, sorry I missed the LIVE!
Great points again refuting the latest discrimination under the guise of tolerance by the ACLU, their word games never cease to amaze me.
I'm glad that you are able to explain the fallacies of their worldview to layman like me.
God bless you, love from Australia.
where i live i only heard discrimination once. It did make me angry. The people did nothing wrong. They were working on construction near a town near me. Other then that i don't hear like the news and politics talks like it is flooding the USA.
