Hans von Spakovsky is an authority on a large range of concerns– consisting of civil liberties, civil justice, the First Amendment, migration, the rule of law and federal government reform– as a senior legal fellow in The Heritage Foundation’s Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies. As supervisor of the think tank’s Election Law Reform Initiative, von Spakovsky also studies and writes about campaign financing restrictions, voter fraud and citizen ID, enforcement of federal ballot rights laws, administration of elections and voting devices requirements.
