What bothers me is how silent our own representatives are regarding Hong Kong's Protest. So as not to have China get angry.
Then again, those Hong Kong protesters aren't singing the FRENCH national anthem in defiance, now, are they? ✊😁🇺🇸
actually, they're both the wrong way. a liberal government like the US or how europe used to be will listen to peacefull protest. a dictatorial one such as china, stalin, hitler, etc will not listen to peaceful protest.

hong kong must prepare for civil war if it want to stay free from china's dictatorship. the USA can survive without civil war, i do believe.
although, it will need to do massive reforms of it's academia and corporations, they're all infected with marxists

You have over one million people gathering without violence when you have one million people of one culture and one language gathering. Start adding Muslims, Africans, Hispanics and everything changes in a single heartbeat. That is why Japan doesn't allow migrants to come in to Japan and dilute the single, one ethnicity, one language culture. Same for Switzerland. The single most divisive element in the United States is the diversity, which has never been a cohesive force anywhere. To say that diversity is a strength is a fantasy not held by Ilhan Omar, Tlaib, or any of the other fringe cultures. When the Chinese overran Tiananmen Square, they sent in military who spoke Cantonese. The Chinese students in the Square spoke Mandarin. Different languages and different cultures; so, the ones with the guns prevailed. They were the Cantonese speaking military, in case you're too dense to figure that out on your own.
Born and raised in Portland. My take: we’re so tolerant and open minded, the creeps take advantage of this. The Antifa types aren’t even from here for the most part.
There is nothing wrong with what Joe Biggs' group did… someone has to stand up to Antifa and apparently Trump is too chicken or unaware and nobody else is either… I salute Biggs…

When you accuse someone of having concentration camps at the border, you are accusing them of a huge human rights crime. How can anyone legally get away with this without having proof. This should go to the courts.

One of these days, Antifa is going to attack someone who is concealed carrying and minding their own business. They will find 3 or 4 dead Antifa, and someone with their slide locked back, and shell casings everywhere. That might be the first battle of the civil war.

I've been following the Hong Kong protests since they started and love the spirit there. Somewhat unrelated though Glenn, I'm not convinced the broad statement that violence dosen't solve anything is accurate. And I don't think the Hong Kong protesters will defeat their Chinese overlords without violence. That's highly unlikely that that will happen though. They're still classier than both of Portland's protest parties though.
These moves and combined rhetoric are intentional by the far left and right to foment escalating violence. Both elements want a shooting war, each for their own reasons. Both sides need to be identified as domestic terrorist organizations and disavowed by both the Democratic and Republican party's, otherwise there will be escalating violence to the point that people will be killed, mostly the innocent. If martial law is called for than it will be to late.
The right isnt going "Far right" or "Alt right". True conservatives have stayed just that-Conservative. Liberalism is now Leftism. They have gone so far left, so close to Nazism (yes that's a leftist ideology), socialism, and Communism.
Violence is useless ? Well you should read about history.

Antifa obviously inciting violence…they are not protesters, they are Soros – funded rioters and have been arrested a long time ago. Why have the police stood down in the past? Why have they not protected the peaceful protesters?
