America’s Favorite Villain Is Ready for Nuclear Fallout. Are You? | Glenn TV | Ep 401
In this episode of Glenn TV — a theatrical how-to guide to survive the breakdown of society after a nuclear attack, according to the new movie “Homestead” from Angel Studios. Glenn Beck interviews the movie’s star and executive producer, Neal McDonough, who plays the head of a family trying to survive as society is breaking down in a postapocalyptic world. You’ve probably seen Neal in everything from the hit TV shows “Yellowstone,” “Suits,” and “Justified” to movies like “Captain America,” “Minority Report,” and the groundbreaking mini-series “Band of Brothers.” Glenn asks Neal what it’s like to play a villain so often, how TV and movies are changing, and how he survived Hollywood as a devoted Christian and husband who refuses to do onscreen kissing scenes with any of his female co-stars. They also discuss his battle with alcoholism, what it’s like working the legends like Sylvester Stallone and Kevin Costner, and the cultural craving for Western cinema.

Habakkuk 2:1-20 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people: Shall not all these take up a parable against him, and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay! Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them? Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.
**Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned against thy soul. For the stone shall cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the timber shall answer it. Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the people shall labour in the very fire, and the people shall weary themselves for very vanity?**
For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea. Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness! Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD'S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory. For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them afraid, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols? Woe unto him that saith to the wood, Awake; to the dumb stone, Arise, it shall teach! Behold, it is laid over with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in the midst of it. But the LORD is in his holy temple: let all the earth keep silence before him.
Western cowboy it's about culture and a way of life
Unfortunately we're not letting people in like your dad was your dad was proud to come over here and serve proudly as an American most of the people that are coming over here are taking advantage of Americans they take advantage of our social welfare systems and they take advantage of America the only reason they want to be here is for what they can gain from it a lot of them in these last four years that's all they care about they don't want to integrate into society
He's the nicest bad guy you will ever meet. Although, he was a anti-hero with a heart of gold in Tin Man.
Merry Christmas…
I was born in 96, this year was the first time that I wondered if what I've know about life would end with a March down the street or if it would end with a flash in the sky.
This is the most entertaining and informative interview I've had the pleasure of watching. Both men lay out their lives for all to see. Astonishing is hardly adequate. Big fan of both.
My wife and I LOVE Neal McDonough for who he is first, and him as a great actor. He is a breath of fresh air.
I disagree with this actor. We are not all God’s children. We are all God’s creation. I am to love my neighbor as myself. However, do I do it at the expense of my family, which is what God has trusted to me? There are plenty of scriptures that talk about the stranger and who they are. Look at the parable of the 10 virgins five did not have oil. The five that did do not share it with the five who don’t. They are told to go get their own oil. You are to be prepared at all times. Just my two cents. Looking forward to seeing this film and thankful that he is a fellow believer. He doesn’t provoke thoughts about what we would do.
Great interview, can't wait to see homestead.

I have always loved this actor! This is a great interview.
Neal was AWESOME in Tulsa King. Absolutely great villain, but a good guy in the end.
I have been waiting for true optimism from high profile people. Thank you both of you for starting this discussion!!!
Patrick Joseph McGoohan, "The Prisoner", Danger Man/Secret Agent Man, also fought the "Hollywood" lack of morality. He would not agree to any kind of sexuality on his later tv series in the 60s, other than a small kiss on his face from an actress he respected. He was considered for the role of James Bond, but he refused the sexual antics of the character and lost out to Sean Connery. He was married to one woman till his death and 2 of his 3 daughters appeared with him on the Columbo tv series. He was also an alcoholic, he had considered becoming a priest when he was younger. He foresaw the New World Order elites and I believe, the NWO was potrayed as the force behind The Village in "The Prisoner" tv series. You should look at his interview with a Canadian tv host ( I believe his last name is Troyer), in the 70s. It is fascinating, as was Patrick McGoohan.
