  2. Im gonna beg you again, please accept the truth that Christ is the meaning of all these books. He is the One who died for our uncleaness, for our sins and to show what was ultimately pointed to by the rituals. Christ is the meaning of Leviticus. He is the Priest that brings us to God, He is the perfect sacrifice and He is the salvation to which these stories, told and symbolized by the rituals, point. Jesus is God showing His people, who could not be thoroughly and perfectly purified by its rituals and laws and purity standards, that He is the only One who would purify and save His people. Jesus is the only One who can confidently introduce us into the presence of the Most Holy God, He ripped the veil, He is God with us. We were made by Him God´s holy people, because of Him, we who were excluded from Leviticus´ covenant, because of its symbolism, can be united to the people of God in a superior covenant, fulfilled in Christ, washed, purified and bought by His holy blood, the only thing that can satisfy a perfectly Holy God.

    Lev 13 I think was talking about ways to combat lepresory. 14 maybe humidity? Which is so stunning. And 15 is a bit confusing because of our modern minds. Example, periods are every month, so 1 week of that and then a whole other week to purify ourselves. But I liked your reminder that God was physically in the tent. So the purification had to be even more strict, to be able to meet with God.

  14. They worshipped satan (jhwh). There is no way to relativize all his demands in Leviticus. They are pure evil and mozes was his blood wizard. If you disagree, you are corrupted by his evil promish to bless you for your strong mentality in this evil created world.

  20. "It's receiving God's punishment for sin so the people don't have to" is the one fallacy of this video. Penal substitution was never what was in mind for the early Jews or Early Christians. The life of a creature for covenantal cleansing and renewal is the purpose they understood. There is no punishment going on with the animal according to a Jew or Ancient Christian.

  23. I just finished reading it and started dueturonomy. It tells of how the Lord wanted people to worship and how things should be prepared thay ate pleasing to the lord, how to conduct oneself if they are unclean, and how to handle finances if one conducts themselves in business and personal matters. Aaron and his sons are overlooked in the stories told of Moses. I am glad to have learned more of him and his place with the Lord

  26. I believe that the book of leviticus was written as a guide for people to live. Touching dead bodies and bodily fluids may harbor bacteria that will make people sick. It was written for people to have healthy lives. The clean and unclean animals were written because these unclean animals were unhealthy and will make people sick. Remember Covid? What was the cause? Bats? What about sars cov and ebola? Camels? The Lord loves us so much that He wants us to live healthy lives for us to enjoy His creation, the reason why He even made us in the first place.

  32. Without the Law you can't understand scripture. We are no longer under the curse of the ritual sacrifices (The blood of Jesus saved us from that) but the rest of the Law is as important today as it was back then. People cry "We are saved by Grace!"… True. But what are the laws of Grace? There are none. Biblical Law is still in effect including the food laws. When the new Kingdom comes we will be living under Biblical Holy Law overseen by the Lord Jesus Christ.

  33. I would love it if Bible Project creators would quote 1 John 3:4 in all of their videos so that people can understand the biblical definition for this biblical word. The Bible gives us a clear definition and The Creator’s exact Holy standard for us all in how we should live BEST.
