The Biden administration is a joke. Blaming the private industry? Careful who you vote for.
What you're not getting is this. COMPANIES pay the truckers and COMPANIES own 1000 trucks. COMPANIES can buy new trucks every year because it's a tax write off. Shutting down the owner operators means four things. 1. COMPANIES get more contracts. 2. COMPANIES control the industry and can raise rates. 3. Owner Operators go away. 4. COMPANIES donate heavily to democrat elected representatives, who keep the laws in place, so the COMPANIES can make MORE MONEY and shut out the little guys. If you want to see what they plan nationwide, just look at Medallions in New York.
Have you seen the red tape that truck drivers have to deal with on a daily basis? They CAN drive, the government will not allow them to drive.
