Why would a perfect God bless or curse his imperfect creations? Do people really believe snakes are cursed. And how about Eve's punishment compared to Adam's? Today we have machines to tame the land, meanwhile women are still suffering and dying during childbirth. Go figure. 🤷♀️🤷♂️

Boy… was that a mistake. God giving "man" control over all the Earth. And even "flourishing" was a mistake. All "man" has done is ruin the environment that god (supposedly) provided. We can't even control our own birthrate. Just since the 1970s global population DOUBLED. Fifty years !! From 4 Billion to 8 Billion just this year. Compare that to the thousands of years it took to get to 4 Billion !!!

Dealing With False Teachers

This page amazes me , i know the bible well, but he explain in a different way . i just wish he uses bible reference whenever he is quoting the bible
I want that violence, I want to hold dominion over those around me. I want to be feared…. I want earthly power and control- if not eternally temporarily. After death it seems all are equal, to stand out, now is the time to seize power and glory That is what separates the wolves from the sheep. "Lions don't opine the musings of Sheep." There is no such thing as a co-ruler. You are either in charge or in servitude.– Or I want to know the exact nature of HEAVEN and the economy of the afterlife…. I'm not sold by Aquinas or any of the Church Fathers (Eastern or Western).
Ruling involves: Killing, Conquering, and Controlling… I see none of those and so I'd say there is the fallacy of Dominion on your understanding of Genesis, but no dominion actually exists until the Adam and Eve become self aware after the Fall. Prior to that, the humans are on par with the Animals, which calls into question the Nature of God…. If God found it GREAT that humans were ignorant of RIGHT and WRONG, I don't think I want to call the DIETY my own, nor offer it worship.

Yet cursing the ground was a blessing in disguise, as it would humble man into seeking God's mercy and forgiveness.

As the man, God had told him not to eat from the tree, yes Eve knew not to eat as well but the serpent convinced her to defy this command. While Adam, knowing full well that he should not eat it, yet the moment the woman God gave him offered the fruit to him he quickly had forsaken God's command and did hearken unto the woman instead.
Adam worshipped the creature over the Creator.
