So you're going to church because you need to learn? Let me ask you something. Who feeds the pastors? Where are they going for continued education? Exactly. So they pick pockets and refuse to make any offerings to the people they go to that feeds them but they expect you to pay them to give someone else's understanding and life work. What's wrong with that? Who needs to repent? Who is robbing God? The pew? No, it's the pastors who don't know God well enough to listen and get a sermon and get it from people like me who they will blackball and do everything in the book to put them in bad light…does anyone understand what I'm telling you??? But I already told you..i hear lies, accusations, mean things, backbiting sins of the flesh.. what I'm sharing is completely from my own education and understanding and through hardship and toils. No one is paying me anything. No one has ever paid me anything. They're just making excuses and you're just looking the other way like the police who also don't want their jobs but will accept whatever salary you give them. *That's not the point…not being paid. The point is hardly any of them should be paid. Unless they're actually going out and had something to put on their accountability time sheet that they visited _____, prayed with _____at the hospital, visited prison and saw______. Every other kind of employment has some kind of accountability and they can't be driving all over this area and beyond every few days and taking 40 hours a week to get a sermon and be worth being paid a salary. Are they actually feeding you? Then if they're not serving you and if they won't see you and if they're not feeding you why would they expect to be paid? I can show you people's books that have used my own work, i can show you years of sermons in about 27 different churches that got their ideas and inspiration from me and yet they still insist i need to go there and pay them something and that's not going to happen unless I can see they're who they say they are and doing what they say they're doing and I'm being fed. This area here there's a few really honest, humble, men of integrity pastoring churches.. but I already know what they know and more. So I just wouldn't get much out of it. Why would you ask a general to go back to basic training? Exactly. Wouldn't help him or her a bit.**i guess you'll understand what I wrote however you want hoping I'll keep coming back explaining something else hopefully you can use.. good luck.
Peter's audience was Jews. So if you were a Jew you'd understand Peter's work. It also helps if you can read and understand English. (I'm not saying it doesn't apply to gentiles because it was written to Jews. But to understand it like Jews you need more background training.)

I have a question.
I will sin and then repent and want more than anything to be pure and obedient to God, because I have faith in him and the way to know if my faith is real is by being obedient, but then sometimes the same day I will commit the very sin I confessed earlier. How can I overcome willful sin? I deceive myself if I think that I will be okay if I continue sinning, but I can’t muster up the will power to just stop when I feel tempted. Sometimes I do, most of the time I don’t. I’ve gone up to a month without committing this sin, but never longer. Anyone got any suggestions?
