Like Greg Koukl said, "evil" is not a thing. It is simply a lack in something good.
Evil is a proof of the existence of God. Evil would not exist if good did not exist and good would not exist if God did not exist, because God is by definition the very standard of good. So many people think that evil disproves the existence of God when the exact opposite is true.
FYI: The latest two podcasts are illegible gibberish. Someone at STR needs to notice this.
As for light and dark theory. Yes light casts shadows. But God had to make that happen. Shadows didn't will itself into existence n God had to decree that shadows come from .since he made this reality, this world. And nothing happens without his say so .
Ok the reason I believe that God made the world and us. And made free will is because he wants someone to love and love us back .but how do you not force that love? If man had no reason to love God .we would be off on our own or dead.
So I believe God had to make something the shows the difference between Love and anti love .that way we know what love it. Something to push us back to him.. or give us a reason to love him to need him.
Jesus said people are evil (Matthew 7 v 11, Luke 11 v 13).
If God made a perfect world? All good..how does broken happen in the first place? How do broken come into existence? Does evil or anti love etc create itself? Did man make evil , etc?
If you say free will .then free will made evil and etc.
Sin is a lable of what is evil and laws tell us what's wrong , what not to do. , It informs us what is good or opposite of evil. Or the right thing to do. .same goes for the 10 commandments.. if the laws was not around we would just do whatever we please.
How do you explain THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE GOOD AND EVIL IN THE GARDEN OF EDEN?
WHO CAME UP WITH THE IDEA AND WORD FOR EVIL?
HOW DID LUCIFER GO FROM ANGEL OF PRAISE AND JUBILATION, to devil like that in a instant. ?
How did Jealousy, hate, murder, killing death come about..
How did anti love come about.?
How did the snake even lie to Adam and Eve?
How bout origins of the word sin?
When Adam Eve saw that they was naked .after they ate from the tree. ? How did that happen? Was it the apple from the tree?
