What about hail damage to that solar roof?
The Church has been too much about Truth and not enough Grace.
“When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. Again, When a righteous man doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.”
Ezekiel 3:18-21
I guess the best example and model to follow is Jesus.
Jesus never condoned sin, he never told sinners it’s OK to keep doing what they’re doing.
Rather, he did seek out sinners, not the company of the righteous, the Pharisees, the Sadducees, etc.
He was kind, and loving to the sinners, as he presented the gospel of the need for repentance of sin, and the need for God’s forgiveness for sin, to enter heaven.
So, Jesus to me, the way I see it, befriended sinners and gave them the news that could save them.
The only ones I can see in the Bible he was abrupt or nasty to, if you want to call it that, were the ones that were self-righteous, proud, thought their poop didn’t stink, and Good-works were enough to get them to Heaven.
He rebuked those quickly.
If they don't turn away from their sin after you point it out, then you are not to associate with them. I think the Bible is clear in this regard.
