I’d like to talk about ‘Emotional Growth’, aka ‘Change’, the greatest part about being a human being that we completely ignore. If you think about it, every other species on the planet is unable to change. Polar bears, they can’t change. Actually, you can ask. No, you know what, don’t bother. They’ll eat you.
I mean, really. Nothing else on the planet can change but us. We can change. It’s the greatest thing about being a human being, yet we squander it every single day. How many people do you know that are exactly the same as they were in high school? And by the way that’s always bad. Even if you were good in high school, not changing is bad. But most of the people I know started off bad. And whatever habits they had, good or bad, or idiosyncratic behavior, they’re taking it straight to the grave.
The only way you can change (and believe you me, everybody around you wants you to change in some way, shape, or form — that’s the sad part). Yes, we would all love you to change, and the only way you can change is through internalizing.
The way you internalize is, just about everything that happens in your life, you make yourself responsible. And it’s easy to do — it’s painful to do, it’s rarely done, but here’s how you do it.
Let’s just say I wanted some FroYo. And by the way, how lazy are we that we can’t even say ‘Zen’ and ‘Gurt’. Let’s just I wanted some frozen yogurt. And I got in my car, and I went up the street, and I went to the frozen yogurt place, and it was closed. Now, I could pound on the glass and throw my hands up to the heavens and scream “WHY?” It’s noon. It’s Tuesday. It’s the middle of the summer. You guys should be open. This is an outrage. Or, I can think, “You know what? I should have called first.” Because the only way I can get anything out of this experience is by turning it to myself and on myself and internalizing. And I’m not saying I’m a bad man or should be incarcerated for not calling them first. But if I can get into the habit of making almost everything my — not fault — but responsibility, then I can use what was a wasted trip across town into a learning experience.

WE NEED A TERRORIST ATTACK ON THE BBC.
I knew where this was going from the beginning. It's about a MINDSET. THAT'S WHY HE MAKES THE BIG BUCKS!!!!
Border Collies can learn 200 human words
Pets and animals can also change and develop emotionaly.
"How lazy are we that we can't say Zen & Gurt"
OK boomer.
Well Caterpillars do turn into Butterflies, hence they can change. So we humans aren’t the only ones.
WTF does this even have to do with left or right? It’s just common sense psychology with no place on the political spectrum.
This is a good lesson for all no matter what your age. As you get older, ( I am older than dirt) change is difficult sometimes. You get set in your ways and how you think. It is better to be more flexible in life. The lesson of personal responsibility is a lost character trait in 2021. Very sad that no one seems to take responsibility for one's own actions. Those that do are people that you can respect. Thanks for the video.
I dislike 30+ minute PragerU advertisements.
I prefer the logo of the Prageru , that was 6 year ago, then the former

Sorry if you disagree with me,but no,YOU CANNOT CHANGE,not even if you want and try to. You can improve but not to change, but you can letter to make a better use of yourself.
YEAH LOOK IN A MIRRIOR YOU TWIT
The deeper I dig on PragerU,
The more meaning I found for my life.
I want to run for public office.
I always wonder why one can’t change their races or ethnicities if they can change their biological orientation?
"What would you change about a koala bear?"
If you actually look into their biology, koala bears are disgusting.
thanks mang!
nobody, I mean nobody going to call first for Yogurt
Animals change all the time. They adapt and change constantly. So right off the bat this is idiotic. Humans also change all the time. You learn some sort of lesson every day whether you want to or not. Yes we are sentient and we know if we are going in the right direction or the wrong one most of the time but this here is a huge oversimplification of what certain people are actually capable of doing. I know who Adam is talking about although he's used semi- polite euphemisms by saying " unemployable and uneducated " but I know who he means. Its so typical of PU thinking someone who is trapped in the cycle of poverty ( which is a very real thing and if you disagree then you are the uneducated one) can simply decide not to be. It's like going to a prison and telling a convicted killer to decide that he's innocent and to immediately ask the warden for permission to leave. Yes Adam Corolla has obviously worked hard for what he has and probably never relied on social programs but a lot of people did not and do not have the options he was lucky enough to have. Even as a middle class guy. Its easy to sit there and tell people the location of their boot straps but if he did just a little research he wouldn't think it was just a matter of " internalizing " which is a Hollywood nonsense word that could mean anything.
Something to say about the whole "Boomer" argument. Just for clarification, I'm a millennial. True, the Boomers did kind of screw up the economy.
But then, that begs the question.
What are we going to do about it? Of course, we can sit on our butts all day and complain about how bad the situation is, or we can acknowledge the problems, and put hard work towards repairing them. If the problems haven't progressed towards being fixed by the time we have children, we only have ourselves to blame for not trying over and over to fix them.
What kind of society are we living in when morons like Adam Carolla are giving life advice? It’s videos like these which make me understand why groups like ISIS exist
Poor leftists are still waiting for obammy's hope n change bwahahhahahahaahaaaa
How about chameleons? Chameleons change…
Ok I will not change my wife 🤷♂️ I am ok 👍
