Former Union Organizing Director discusses Card Check

Rian Wathen, former Organizing Director for the UFCW Local 700, Indianapolis, goes over different tactics union organizers utilize to get staff members to sign union authorization cards. The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA) would remove the secret-ballot democratic election procedure and change it with card check, a technique that would make it possible for union organizers to trick, bother and threaten employees until they signed a union permission card. When 51% of a business workers signed cards, EFCA would force companies to acknowledge a union.
