What?? An organization that has accepted girls into their organization via venturing and sea scouts since the 70s is finally going co-ed? An organization that, almost everywhere else in the world, has already been fully co-ed for years before is now finally catching up in America? Oh no!! THE HORROR!!
I entered the Cub Scouts in New Zealand as a kid. I only lasted a year because I wasn't able to bond with any of the others and didn't feel included. Unfortunately they had become yet another tool for the promotion of extreme Left race based and political ideologies so I left. I did however learn a few things while I was there. Skills which are drawn upon one day over 30 years in the future when the lives of others are on the line, and saving the day. The real threat the Scouts pose is in enabling boys, giving them skills and self-esteem, father and brother figures and of course creating an invisible citizen army, capable of defending our countries against attack.
I never supported the pouf scouts, so it doesn't matter if they become the pansexual coed scouts.
My scout troup in Ottawa, Canada was one of the first, if not first in Canada to have a girl join our group, as well as a woman scout leader. This was the late 90s/early 2000s. Some people, my mom included, were in an uproar about it.
25 years later, and guess what? Scouts still exists. My old troup still exists. Camp Opemikon, one of the largest scout camp grounds in the province of Ontario still exists and is thriving.

We can only hope that a strong male adult can rescue the Boy Scouts. Get together all of you 60's and 70's Eagle Scouts and make it happen.
I was a Professional Scouter for years, in two different Councils. I joined to make a difference, to uphold dreams and ideals, and found so much compromise, so much dishonesty that I and a block of others after trying for years to be more, simply quit in disgust. We are dying, because we fold up and give up.

Of course they did this. Because women’s spaces are women’s spaces, and men’s spaces are women’s spaces. There’s literally no point to doing this.

I grieve for the loss of the Boy Scouts. I saw the writing on the wall for my boys and didn’t let them join. They would've loved it, as my own brother did in the 1990s.
As a Boy Scout who earned his Eagle Award at 14 years of age, I am disgusted at the present state of affairs and am considering sending all of my awards back to this now corrupt organization
The feminists destroy organizations that turn boys into men, then wonder why there are no good men.
Why can't it just simply be a boy's harmless tradition. Why this need to change it? I'm a female, but I think it's silly. When we grow up, we want girl's nights, and girl's only things. Don't get it.
Every cloud has a silver lining…these boys can now claim to be female and invade womens' sports and locker rooms! 👍

As society gets more secular, dwindling memberships in such organizations will continue to grow. Merging both scouts groups into one is just a desperate attempt to bolster falling numbers.
As an Eagle Scout I'm disgusted by the way this organization has become. attention girls who want to be scouts……join the girl scouts! If people don't like the girl scout program and want to adopt some of the ways the boy scouts do things……do it! Don't destroy the organization I belonged to and earned one of the highest rank in the Boy Scouts and am proud of to earn.

Heather, PragerU is one of the leading gay (homosexual) advocacy groups in America. The founder, Dennis Prager, even shows his ardent support by being the godfather to the babies PURCHASED by the middle aged gay (homosexual) activist, Dave Rubin.
PragerU supports, endorses and posts material not only by Rubin but other leading (gay) homosexual activists including Guy Benson, Chadwick Moore, Dave former editor of OUT and The Advocate, two of the most prominent and influential gay (homosexual) publications, and others.
These middle aged men claim to be “conservatives” but ALL are still practicing homosexuals and support, enthusiastically, for the acceptance of GAYS (homosexuals) in society.
Know and support the FACTS, Heather, not what Marissa Streit and Dennis Prager feed you, they are WOLVES dressed in sheep’s clothing!
Your point of view is all wrong. BSA changed because the organization was failing and needed to find new ways to attract participants. Less boys today care about joining organizations like the BSA. It was a choice to reach out to new audiences or go out of business.
You are respectfully very wrong. Women have been leading in scouts since 1976. The decision to begin allowing girls to participate in the program doesn’t hurt the boys any more than the female leaders who have been in place longer than most of you have been alive. Many countries have had integrated scout from over 50 years. For some reason I can’t begin to understand the right has set its sights on blasting girls who Alan’s to learn outdoor skill and work on the same ranks as the boys. Iv not seen anyone asking for the bar to be lowered for them just to give them the chance to achieve. This is not the battle against boys in girls locker rooms that many that you portray it to be. It is the same gate keeping the kept women from participating in the Boston marathon, women from playing golf at all men’s country clubs and used to keep girls and women from play pretty much any sport. Why are you mad at the Boy Scouts? Not 4H? Not FFFA. I mean the girls are supposed to be learning to cook and clean over in the FHA right? You on the right really want girls to be in the girls scouts who have a relationship with planned parenthood? Stop clutching your pearls and think for yourself. We can chew gum and walk at the same time. We are teaching boys and girls to be the leaders of tomorrow. To grow out of their timid nervous selves and become confident leaders. These are not gender specific rolls but rolls that everyone who plans to be anyone needs. It’s not a big deal relax and don’t let the ppl with microphones wind you up. They are just fundraising.

After the BSA initiated this major change, probably it's largest group of contributor left the organization. The LDS church (Mormon) finally left the Boy Scouts. That delivered a huge death nell to the BSA. BSA also will suffer internationally as well.
The BSA was going downhill back in the early 70s when I was in.

This is ridiculous…. Most of America agrees with me. The democrats will and are falling on their faces.
"Be prepared", one of the BSA axioms, still rings true to me today. I enjoyed the Scout experience, growing up in rural farmland in the 1950s.
And no one stood up and fought against this in the scouts sometimes it’s time to throw down 😢get dirty and stand up and fight against this .
