The bodycam footage of the attack on Paul Pelosi was finally released — over two months after the altercation occurred. But first, on today’s Friday Exclusive, Glenn flashes back to the original, now-deleted, NBC News report that left us with more questions than answers. Then, he breaks down the recently released bodycam footage that some of America’s most powerful seemingly tried to keep from going public. Finally, Glenn asks, “Why was this footage not immediately released when it could have cleared up all the confusion and controversies?” The lack of credibility and trust throughout society is getting out of control, and the delayed release of this footage may make it all worse.

  2. So why did they even opened the door if he was being held hostage? Is that what kidnappers do? Why did Paul didn’t ask for help ( which was his best chance not to get smashed) why is Paul just standing there smiling very casual like he was expecting the guy to play it cool and pretend nothing happened, and if his life is in danger and there is an intruder in his house WHY IS PAUL HOLDING A COCKTAIL with one hand and the other one the hammer? ( which raises the question who opened the door ? )

  4. Come on Glenn… the “criminal “ isn’t just going to stand there and let his “hostage” greet cops at the door and with a drink in his hand!!!
    I’m afraid you are looking at this through rose colored glasses!
    This is absolutely the first time I have EVER questioned your opinion/judgement on anything!! But with all due respect Glenn, you are wrong on this one….

  6. He didn't answer the door…one hand had a cocktail in it and the other had a hold of the hammer. There is a shadow behind the door which makes you wonder if there was a 3rd person there. Why didn't Paul call the police when David broke out the windows to enter. What was in Davids backpacks??

  13. I cannot see it really well, but it looks like Pelosi had a hold of the top part of the handle of the hammer and the guy the bottom part of the handle and that they were not holding hands but struggling over the hammer! I think the hammer was Pelosi's, but we may never know the truth!

  22. Thanks for repeating that "this is what it looks like" "all of it makes sense" throughout like a mantra. Does it really? No cameras working except the one exactly where the intruder spent the longest time trying to break through a glass door? No alarms? No one hear anything? Then the cops standing outside the house looking out into the street, turn around to see door open by itself and there they are standing by the door? The guy who is clearly much stronger and bigger than the old man chooses to attack exactly when the cops with the cameras show up? Except the impact is not seen? None of this makes sense except maybe on paper

  24. Why not release it??
    Because Glenn… it's the drone footage of the BACKYARD that shows a very weird scene complete with a table/bed and a blood covered sheet that they are trying to control. The drone footage exists and if THAT gets out, the world will see EXACTLY what these "people" really are. Where's YOUR credibility ? Maybe u have gatekeepers around u.
    This footage is a diversion from the REAL crime imho.

  29. I have changed my mind on Paul, from he was up to no good to he a victim of this crack pot. It actually the looks like the 911 person should be fired. She should be able to read between the lines and hear the hints that he needs help. The police even handle it wrong when they show up. I could go on and on. A lot of huge mistakes. Just ridiculous the incompetence.
